That's the direction that collegiate and professional sports have taken and it has even trickled itself into high school athletics. It's all about "building my brand" or "getting mine" or "I'm gonna look out for me", etc. etc. It is a mixture of the new wave generation moving up, but like most things evil, social media plays a significant role in this mindset.

A win is better than a loss. That's about as positive as I can be here.

Concerned was my vote, but leaning toward the wheels are falling off. There is 0 momentum and 0 hope for an even decent 2021 season. 2-2 non-con split looks like a best case scenario and the way LIBERTY is passing us up it may very well be a 1-3 start to the year. Next season will more than likely be bowl-less. However, no worries, people will come to our HC's rescue with a plethora of newly made excuses at the ready.

This is not a Bowen issue. This is a Seth Littrell issue. When people get on board with that then maybe we'll get our head out of the sand.

This is a bad take on this forum. Most are against the idea. I, for one, am for it. FSU wouldn't be where they are today without doing it. They recruited their way to relevance due to their ability to sell their schedule. Sure, it was brutal early. However, they started winning games because kids wanted the opportunity to, 1) stay close to home while 2) play a schedule filled with big time opponents (granted most were on the road) OR... We can't continue to chooooose the kiddie pool for what? A 300k conference payout a year via "TV money". Nah, I'm good. Give me the former.

I'm not a fan of Littrell. Don't think I ever will be. Program is way too finesse for me. Outside of that, there's nothing to say worth saying. We won. That's a good thing. You imply as if people are actively rooting against UNT. Let's beat UTEP.
