  1. He's a fraud. Been saying it for years now. And we're the suckers. Go thank Wren Baker.
  2. You're describing every single program right now during these times. UNT is not the only program trying to patch work position groups to fill team needs. It's running rampant throughout college football.
  3. I'm not getting into a pissing match with you. The point stands. He's paid and he's not producing. Next.
  4. that's exactly how it works. Not just in football, but business. Producers get top dollar. Losers get fired, football or business. Not sure what you've been paying attention to.
  5. Tell Bill O'Brien about your perspective.
  6. The cordial way to express disapproval is a well thought out and responsible email. We all know that email will get deleted and/or unread. They can't delete or not read bolded poster board.
  7. We need people who aren't going to throw lobbed up softballs and starts to feel intimidated because of a grumpy coach. I know Dave is a radio commentator and asking hard lined questions really isn't his job. But we don't have anyone that will toe the line and demand real answers. I haven't really heard 1 hard nosed question directed at any HC of any sport since I've been following UNT. I think Brett would be the one to fill that void given he isn't employed by the University. Don't worry about that parking pass, Brett. If they revoke it I'll personally shuttle you up to the stadium. Go get answers.
  8. Bean is not the answer. He is Dajon Williams 2.0. Good athlete that has shown the inability to break down defenses with his arm. Aune looks serviceable. He went for 340 while completing 60%. That's a stat line that I'm not sure Bean could provide. And sure, Aune missed some throws that I'm sure he wishes he could have back. Our problem is ST and D and starting way too slow on O.
  9. What makes you certain that he will get it back on track. What evidence points us in that direction? And 28-26 isn't a justifiable record just because the hires before him sucked worse. He is the highest paid coach in the conference. There are expectations attached to that and he isn't even remotely close to flirting with them. 5-11 since taking that money. I hope he's sending Harrell a monthly royalty fee.
  10. There are people defending this travesty. Different coaches, same people, interchangeable excuses. UNT is not in a covid bubble. Everyone is having to adapt to it. SoMiss didn't have the 2nd most important offensive player on any offense, their starting center. And yet they have running backs having career days on us. A true freshman back up running back at that. No matter the excuses or the year, under SL, opposing offensive players have had countless career days vs us. Covid is just the convenient excuse right now.
  11. This season being screwed up due to covid is not exclusive to UNT.
  12. Fitting that SL pushed Walden away like a lap dog... What Walden has... Fire, energy, passion, joy, etc etc. SL has none. And it shows.
  13. Oh yeah... Wait until he sees UNT's SL led defense. Typically, career numbers are in store.
  14. Not when they're in danger of being delisted.
  15. If this team was a stock...I wouldn't invest. No, we aren't giving up 50 a game....yet. It's 48 ppg as of now.
  16. Oh... Then no. But we definitely scored 2 and padded some stats to make it look sort of semi respectable offensively.
  17. Go rematch... Our last 2 touchdowns had defensive rotational players playing starter reps. I mean, it's there for the world to see. Then come back and tell me wrong.
  18. Very competitive constitutes competing for the division. So miss, UAB and LaTech and maybe even UTSA and Rice will not allow that to happen. Our saving grace... UTEP. At least we're not UTEP. After watching yesterday though, I'm not so sure we aren't UTEP.
