Been paying attention to the season. Valiant effort vs KU. Let Miami come back on us and take the W. Took care OF UTA, etc. Pretty decent start to the season. However, Wichita State paid us to go up there? I find that strange and unnecessary. I found a write up by their local newspaper. We are not thought of highly, at all. https://www.kansas.com/sports/college/wichita-state/article256711377.html

Stipends existed before NIL. Those were swept under the rug as "not good enough" and the news of them quickly died, though the existence of them still lived. The NIL probably needs some regulation. The issue at hand isn't so much the NIL, but the combination of NIL paired with college football free agency with 0 transfer repercussions. It's now pay for play. If you think for a second a school like UNT will EVER have a 4-year productive starter at QB, well you're dearly mistaken. NIL + free agency = free open market for these "student"-athletes. Until that sees a market correction, it's all going to be willy nilly. Lastly, no one is bashing UNT. Simply pointing out the major issues at hand.

I've changed it once. Since 2012. Try again. Need to put my shit walking boots on.

6-6 is not great, but the players earned a bowl invitation and I'll be there to support that. And I don't just 'show up'. I'm always here, fool.

Lol. I know. It's funny watching athletic department worshippers dog pile with their down votes. Then to watch them, and then others, re-dogpile because of their feelings.

Sometimes reading the truth sucks. And if down voting truth brings you joy, down vote away. Doesn't make it not true.

Dude is a baller. 6'3" 190lb. Before yesterday's game, biggest offer was UIW. Since, WKU has offered. Go. Get. Him. State championship game 187 yds receiving 3 td Int FF

We're going 40 miles from campus. This should've been sold-out within days of announcement. The current resale value of tickets, all things considered, should be double face value. I hate to say this and it doesn't being me joy, but we are a pathetic fan base. Has the Seth Litrell apathy ran its course this deep?

DRC: Three reasons UNT could be worse in 2022
NorthTexasWeLove replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
Must find serviceable qb. If we do and the whole team doesn't transfer, given the youth on the team, there is 0 reason to believe we won't be much better. A noncon schedule tick down also helps. -
13k is fine?

We know they get a beautiful, scenic 45 minute charted bus ride.

I don't know. If they intended it for interdivision, let alone conference, rivals to poach players then it's working fantastically well. Max Johnson leaves LSU to land at ATM. Rumor mill is that Alabama is all but openly trying to recruit Boutte away from LSU to Bama. I mean, if that's what they had in mind, then they are really hitting it in stride. To me, it's all a joke.

Great Props for UNT on ESPN

Nah. But I do actually get offended when people with tiny weenies try to compete with people without tiny weenies. That's the line in the sand for me. -

No. Her accomplishments. Keep them separate. -

Meh. The Olympics are letting dudes compete against women. No difference. But your point is that women aren't equal from a competitive standpoint so we, as in society, overlook it as cute. But doesn't that argue against the "glass ceiling" being broken? -

There isn't a difference. At all. -
No, it's all good. People have the right to look at things negatively given the product paired with the recruiting. Given this is a recruiting thread, that right to complain should be magnified given the circumstances. Let's beat Miami and get some mo on our side and hopefully have a great atmosphere in person and for TV and let's get some late signees in here.

Yeah, ok. We'll see. Meanwhile some of the mostly coveted kids in those classes are jetting. And always remember, this is CUSA. And it's funny, when we sign shitty classes all the Athletic department worshippers ALWAYS run to the defense of, WAIT UNTIL THEY'RE SENIORS BEFORE JUDGING. Yet, when a decent class is put together those same people are quick to post about it. It's just funny.

Not true. He has at least 2 years on his contract remaining. Sounds like the easy, or simple excuse. On the flip side of the coin, or where reality lays, Seth Littrell can't recruit. A HC is supposed to be the "closer" or "ace in the hole", that when called upon it's because we have a kid on the brink of a commitment and the HC gets the pendulum swung in our favor with his HC prowess, personable skills, charisma, etc. Does this sound anything like Littrell?
