  1. And those seats will continue to decline. Too much convenience at home + too much money for those seats = declining sales. Make the seats actually affordable while also fielding a worthwhile product then they'd be booming. It would stop looking like a senior citizen resort up there in the suites, but it would be booming. I mean, why not get already fans in more expensive, yet affordable seats?
  2. We need to do this anyway. GM has done more for UNT in 1 season than Seth Littrell has done for UNT in 7. Basketball can be a thing here, a national thing. Football is forever treading water. And I'm a football guy.
  3. I thought it would be rock n roll sushi? Oh... wait...
  4. Don't be naive. That's a top 10 ranking. Putting the legal jargon in the dried contract ext as we speak.
  5. Well, I mean, yeah. An old saying in the military when swabbing 75 year old facilities: Can't polish a turd, but can damn sure try.
  6. I thought about putting that as well. I opted for CONSISTENTLY above .500. I know games can get out of hand quickly, especially in strength vs weakness games. However, I don't excuse the blowouts as coaching staffs know their weaknesses usually during spring ball (or before). And the beauty of college football is that coaches can shore up their roster any given offseason. The good coaches in today's game have realized that and have taken action. Our staff has decided to tread water. I put consistently .500 because that's how a winning culture is built. And flip flopping from 9-3 to 4-8 is not the above .500 I have in mind. Consistently be 7-5 or better. I get bad years are going to happen. But once a pattern is set of bad years a trajectory forms and coaches gots to go. Go be 7-5, consistently. 9-3/10-2's will inevitably start to sprinkle into a long run of 7-5's. And I can stomach a 3-9/4-8 type of season on the rare occasion, it happens.
  7. Hands down best home uniform. Get this back and keep em forever. Hands down best away uniform. Get this back and keep em forever.
  8. Makes sense as to why gamedays have been terrible as well as negligible silence... the top guy wants to kick his can down the road.
  9. Shhh. Just nod and smile. The ink on the contract ext is drying.
  10. I laughed at it. Not at the attendance per say, but the problem the athletic director has created for himself. An overpaid AD standing up an overpaid coach like a ventriloquist and his doll... this is the attendance woes that come with it.
  11. Would urine still be filling up cleats and coaching sneakers when a pony is on the oppositions helmet? If so, same result.
  12. Well, we know the AD is gonna fluff. All athletic departments do this. We know the attendance is going to be bad. Win the next 3 and the Nov 5 game will have a true 20k+ in attendance. Otherwise, keep fluffin.
  13. Now just imagine getting a coach in here that knows how to use the portal, continuing recruiting rostered players and plucking HS and JUCO talent... imagine how good we could be rather than settling in a weird celebratory way of being middle of the road.
  14. Print the contract ext!
  15. Could've milked this half away with running the football with a 28-7 lead but Seth 'eyes too close together' Littrell thought Aune was feeling himself and now a bad football team is right back in it. Yay
  16. That's a macro problem, not a UNT football problem. 20 year olds don't give a damn about anything, at all. But as soon as they get the spit slapped outta their mouths they wanna cry victim. And the actual adults have started listening to them and taking their BS as gospel. Nevertheless, GMG. We're winning and I don't care who we're winning against at this point.
  17. I don't know. Who cares.
  18. Same. Put it on a white helmet and rotate in with the other unis regularly.
  19. If he can get to 8-5 WITH a bowl trophy I could stomach a very short extension. That is and should be the bare minimum watermark.
