They should have done redirects from the old subpages to the new equivalent. When you search for something in Google and it links to a page you're getting a lot of 404 errors since the page links appear to be different. Lazy web developers would rather wait for Google to re-crawl the website and update its listings (which isn't always quick) than to to redirect links. For instance, say I'm an excited fan and I want tickets. I open up Google and search "UNT Football Tickets"... The first link I get appears to send me to a UNT site to buy tickets... GREAT, can't wait to go! Click on link: 404 Error. ☹️

I didn't pay much more than a $1000 a seat for my two Club Level tix this season in Club 11 section. I guess I don't see the appeal for the price. Its not like there's a private elevator to get all the way up to the Club Level from there. Make sure you get your money's worth out of those pre game dinners! Take it with a grain of salt since a part of sales is all about creating scarcity, but they said they were almost sold out on Club Level tickets when I talked to my guy at the ticket office. He didn't elaborate if that meant in my section or in general.

I've already bought my plane ticket to Birmingham for that game. Not sure what I'm more worried about, the game or making out alive from where the football stadium is! Should be some good football! GMG!

I have a pretty good sized portable generator from my time in Louisiana... May be willing trade usage for me invading your tailgate and drinking your cheap beer.

They keep telling me they're loading tickets and away game tickets into my account but they never have a direct answer when I ask how to see this mystical account. Nothing warms my heart like the ticket office telling me to come to Denton any time between 8-5pm M-F when I'm in Plano. I'm imagining being at the gates at Arkansas trying to get in and telling them " But the UNT ticket office says they're in my account!"

That is more swag than I've gotten by buying Hub Club seats and making the required MGSF donation... Guess I should have joined the Scrappy club instead. 🤷‍♂️

Isn't there a free soda fountain inside for the Hub Club seats? All you have to do is pay almost $3k for two seats and you get all the Diet Coke you can drink! 😂

But did you stay long enough to experience the less than half full FAU Stadium run out of beer during the CUSA Championship game? And the lines in the concourse were awful too... All the mobile vendors ran out first, and they only sold beer at beer only concession stands. Then there was no beer at all.

I guess my main concern is I'm pretty sure the seat pricing isn't fixed for the five year term. So even if my total MGSF requirement is fixed, they can at any time up the ticket cost as they see fit. They made it seem like the MGSF total is equivalent to a NFL PSL that guarantees me those seats indefinitely as long as my contracted MGSF total is being paid or paid off. I took that sales pitch with a grain of salt. College athletics are famous for pushing people out of seats any way they can when there's someone with deeper pockets that might want the same seats. We'll see, I'm just looking forward to the experience and the rarified Hub Club air for as long as possible. 😁

They tried to get me to go ahead and keep the years 2-5 MGSF total coming in. I told them I preferred each season's Tix and MGSF donation to be charged in that year.

Yes! Please move it... Sitting in Fuzzy's for 3 hours always feels a bit odd. The staff never seemed very welcoming and it isn't really a comfortable place to hang out. Also pretty sure Fuzzy's was charging $5 for most of their domestic pints. Bars generally have better draft pricing on domestics. Not sure how their distributed A/V setup works at the pub, but it might be as simple as getting a Chromecast and bringing a phone or tablet as the designated streaming to Chromecast device. Happy to provide 2 cents worth of A/V advice if you find out more info about their setup. As long as they have WiFi and can distribute a single HD source you probably will be good to go with a cheap streaming stick.

I have been using Direct TV Now since the beginning of the year. They we're giving free Apple TV's if you prepaid 3 months at $35 a month. I personally love it. I have it on an Apple TV, a Roku Stick, and a Roku 4k box on three different TV's. It was a great day dropping off those giant Spectrum boxes at their office. During football season I'll up my package. Can be done from the website without speaking to anyone. And it can be lowered from the website without speaking to anyone after football season.

An opportunist would see that as a low bar to overcome. 😁

Since we're slowly whittling away at the off-season with big dreams and high hopes... how about this: College Gameday at Apogee for FAU at UNT? They usually pick one or two G5 games a year and if both of us are having an excellent season up to this point it could be an interesting G5 game for them to show up at in November. Things working for us: ESPN loves Kiffin Its a major market game ESPN would probably have no problem getting people to show up for festivities even if they aren't UNT/FAU fans Apogee has lots of room for Gameday to setup I think UCF won't have similar performance this season turning over their whole coaching staff. They will no longer be the G5 darling. Things counting against: We may get smoked FAU doesn't travel well UNT has a questionable history filling the stands It may be a Thursday game? (did this get confirmed?) G5 Thoughts? Feelings? Disputes? 🦅🦅🦅
