I'm a bit astonished that SMU wasted space in the middle of campus for their IPF. With space on campus coming at a premium, are the powers at be that confident they won't need that space for another academic building? I'd guess you could have put it on the east side of 75 in the "SMU East Campus" area and found enough room for a full distance field. I'm guessing whoever the big donor for the facility insisted it be in the heart of campus so they could point to it and brag from their Boulevard spot?

I'm like 90% sure we did do that at least once last year.

The entire visitors side (east side of stadium) will be mostly green. I think the official sections bought through the ticket office end up being the sections right against the southern endzone on the east side of the stadium.

Get a pair of seats in the Club level. She can sit in the comfort of the Hub Club while you get birds eye view of the games.

You have the pleasure of having to cross the Mockingbird and 75 intersection. Its not very pedestrian friendly. Take the shuttle from the Dart Station to the game.

If you're on the Red, Orange, or Blue lines have at it, great way to get there... Especially quick if you're on the eastern side of the Dart map. If you're unlucky enough to be on the Green line because you're transferring from the DCTA A-Train, make sure you change to the Red/Orange line at Victory... I'd say its the least frequented by those who look to cause trouble. Whatever you do, don't transfer trains at West End. If you miss Victory, I'd personally wait till St Paul to transfer, its the deadest of the CBD stations on the weekends. And don't miss that last DCTA train from Trinity Mills at 10:45p. Short verison: The DCTA A-Train runs an almost useless Saturday schedule. Its a wonder anyone rides the thing at all. I rode the Dart and TRE about 10 years ago when commuting from downtown to Centreport. I still can recount some rather interesting stories from that time. I now save my single Dart ride for when I go from Plano to the State Fair once a year.

According to some complaints on PerunaFans.com there has been some shuffling of the Boulevard layout and people haven't taken it well. Sounds like there's open spots on the Boulevard, which was previously unheard of. Also, I think they've moved the Mustang Club people inside the IPF and off the Boulevard. Pulling a few hundred people off the Boulevard is a good way to suck a bit of life out of your normally raucous party atmosphere. And I think it puts the Mustang Club group even farther from Ford field than they were.

Its their first home game and a late game. I tend to think that the kids and Alum will have spent the whole day trying to Out-Boulevard each other and will be too drunk to make it in if they haven't already passed out. I want better for them, but we'll probably have 8 to 10k in Green there and they'll be lucky to match that 1 for 1 in the stands. I'm sure there's at least another 10k SMU fans in the suites... or so they say.

Our second half teams in general are nerve rattling. My 2018 season PTSD flares up when it's halftime and we're up by a bunch and the other team has a single touchdown. How many games did we tank last year under that scenario?

One of our marketing people sent out invites for College Colors day today and happy hour at 3pm for the office. I'll be out though... I always take the Friday off before a 3 day weekend if I can swing it. And rightly so, I was up till after 1am watching Utah win another Holy War game against BYU. 🍻 And I wear a Mean Green polo to the office every Friday during college football season anyways. And so should all of you...
