What problems? Coach and Wren have gone full radio silence since Saturday night regarding the flagship football program with the exception of a retweet encouraging student attendance. (Lets all get a good laugh in on what that number will be on Saturday). It does appear Wren is hyping Basketball and a few of the womens' sports. So since no one is talking about it officially, there clearly is NOT a problem. Chant the normal thing people say with me: Remember Portland State, Remember Portland State, Remember Portland Sta... 😴 In a last ditch effort to have zero communication with fans before Saturday's game, I'll assume there will be a tragic fire at Rudy's tomorrow to avoid the weekly Seth Littrell Show... not that you can even easily listen to it anymore unless you set your cassette deck to record it (anyone have one I can borrow?). The NEW HOME for the Seth Littrell Show seems to think Podcasts are just some passing fad that KNTU wasted their time with the past few years.

Grad Transfers are actually in it to get graduate degrees? All these years I understood it to be an opportunity to get one more year of stats to try to get in the Draft. You hear interviews from recent former NCAA athletes that had a "Graduate Degree" year and they'll openly say they literally never went to class.

If only there was another FBS program in DFW that appears to have written the book on how to totally reverse the downward trajectory of a program in a single season through recruiting... I'm sure there's nothing to learn there. Oh well, hope the ticket office can work with "Hang in there, 2021 Season will be awesome!"

Hopefully Stone Cold Coach Mumbles and staff took a time out from their sulking today to watch the MTSU at FAU highlights from yesterday. Looks like O'Hara likes to throw bombs into coverage. FAU had a number of picks and appeared to just barely miss a few more. North Texas would have to have a man on the MTSU receivers though, which after last night appears to be a foreign concept.

We didn't play great against them last year at the Sun Bowl.

Wren was on the sideline last night down near the UNT visitor section. As he was watching the game (in between sending texts) he was surprising calm about it all. We weren't too far gone to come back by that point in the game, but he just was not emotional about the performance. Meanwhile a few feet behind him, those of us in the stands were losing our minds watching the bottom begin to drop out.

...and I had to cancel my hotel room in Ruston by last Thursday. 😑 Guess I'll still go see the bloodbath.

You only have so many years of eligibility and abilities to play the game. If your young man behind the curtain OC leaves, your OL line leaves you unprotected at every snap, and your HC spends the last 4 weeks of your next to last season almost getting another job... you should probably be selfish with your own desires for collegiate athletics success.

You want heartbreaking?... You should have seen Mason's mother and father in the stands this game. Mason's father is always pretty reserved, Mason's mom appears totally fed up. Mason came back on the field from the locker room with maybe 5 mins to go with no pads on, motioned for him mother to lean over the railing, whispered something into her ear and then he walked off. I can't imagine that was good news, since I've never seen an interaction like that from him. Both parents and what I assume was Mason's grandfather pretty much were speechless and emotionless the rest of the game. He should have transferred after last season. Only the Homer apologists on here wouldnt have understood.

So Reeder O is better in the 2nd half... Right? 😓

We're at the 4th St Bar across from campus... Cheap beer and they gave the first free because we're visiting team.

I'm always excited about college football, but I won't be excited about this team until we're in a Conference Championship game. That being said, the season tix department always gets my $$$.
