I love college football and I do my best to love my Alma Mater, but I'm just not excited about this game today. I assume others feel similarly based on the lack of traffic on this message board. Sad thing is it's only Oct 1st. And why do we have a 3p kick vs 6p? Do we have preferential airtime placement on FUBO Ultra+?

Seth can stay if he wins a C-USA Championship (never going to happen) and then proceeds to win a bowl game (definately never going to happen). If Seth is here next year without those two things I will personally pay the $5k to fly the "Fire Seth & Wren" banner over our inaugural AAC home game.

UCLA is 5-0 and has 1k fans at the Rose Bowl Pasadena. Maybe as we drive attendance towards zero we'll suddenly improve!

We haven't been successful in Football since we were in Boca Raton playing Joey Freshwater's FAU team for a CUSA conference championship game. That was 2017 if you're memory is clouded.

How long will "Wren is the ONLY reason we're in the AAC" + successful Women Soccer, Softball, and MBB programs give him a pass for how awful of a manager of the cornerstone Football program he is? He's really bad at managing a successful football program y'all. For those who were so worried he would be poached by a P5 as an AD, exactly who would look at our last 7 seasons of declining performance in football and be like "yeah, lets get that guy to be our AD!" Maybe a half rate FCS program... or Texas State?

I can't believe I roasted in the Memphis sun like some half ass Memphis BBQ to watch this football game. 🤬

Local sports show here in Memphis is talking to Memphis QB Seth Henigan who appears to be a Denton Ryan product with very good production. Amazing how local products that we should have a chance to get just slip away... constantly.

Its hard to imagine a recent PAC12 Commish worse for the conference than Larry Scott was. The current guy has only been here since mid 2021.

I bought ours through the ticket office. I don't remember getting an email about where they're at, but usually they're at a Visitor Will Call popup ticket booth (a 10x10 pop-up Academy style tent) somewhere along the peremeter.

I truly do not understand the rush by SMU to get rid of the grassy hill area. The final product will allow the stadium to look emptier than it does now but with a few more sky boxes.

We're here. Just burst our ear drums having some drinks while listening to the hipster DJ at the Central Station Hotel bar. Not looking forward to the temps in the weather tomorrow.

Littrell's wife actually had a mildly panicked look on her face as most of us started walking out with almost 10 min to go in the 4th at Allegiant. Hope they saved some of that $10m+ they made off of UNT in the last 7 seasons.

The Littrell family is life long family friends of the Lovelace Family. What is being allowed by Wren and Smatresk is malpractice at this point.

I've been contemplating making green "Fire Littrell" 4in buttons to pin on the lady and I's shirt but I figure I won't make it up the elevator to the Hub Club before I'm asked to remove it. I assume the Denton Country Club @ Apogee members may gasp or faint at such rabble rousing.

Is that per game or for a season? I've always wondered what it would cost to park one in the Blue Lot every home game.

I'd just like to say to any brave Alumni Association members lurking on GMG... Thank you for the tailgate you put on prior to the UNLV game! I have complained frequently in the past about a lack of organization at away games for our fans. The event today was exactly the sort of camaraderie and organization that our fanbase needs to attract people to away gamedays. Great food, great drinks (based on my current headache I probably over did it on them), and it was great to shake hands and speak with other Mean Green faithful. IMHO the price of entry was a bargain for 2.5hrs of food and drinks. Don't let our Athletic and University leadership failures in regards to football kill what you're attempting to start in regards to the events! Keep it up, you won today for most of us fans who spent their time and money to meet the team in Las Vegas. Thank you!
