  1. Remember when a conference game against an opponent like LA Tech would have had us 10-12 pages deep in a GMG game thread by now?
  2. DJ Question Mark is awful. No one wants to hear the feel good pop hip-hop lite hits of the early 2000's. I need a DJ that has some dawg in him...
  3. When I say The Hill, I was meaning the whole east side of the stadium where the tailgate areas are. It's just very quiet. No traffic and lots of blue lot parking only 1.5 hrs from kickoff. There was way more people here the last home game... and we won! Lots of LT fans though!
  4. There is no energy around The Hill right now prior to the game. Sad.
  5. Sub $350 for two great seats in right behind the UNT bench. My football tickets are $2200 for 6 games.
  6. I will believe it when they pry the free Ford Raptor keys out of his hands in front of me.
  7. At least they promoted a minority into the DEI position. If I had a nickel for every company that recently promoted a middle aged white woman into a DEI role, I'd have a lot of nickels.
  8. This aged poorly. I did enjoy the at least one fake injury from the pair during the game. Really brought me back!
  9. This artwork is beautiful. Keep up the solid work!
  10. Two TD so far for the day. He did just make a bad pitch for lost yardage and then threw directly to a TCU player for pick here in the 3Q. He was looking hot until he wasn't...
  11. There's some high profile pictures from the last few home games that don't show 3k fans much less 30k fans. Those number are mega cooked if they're trying to say 31k is the 2022 average so far.
  12. I look forward to Utah spanking them on Saturday
  13. I really assumed their edge in Football was the repeated commercials with the blue GT500 Mustang. We should hand crank start that old Mean Green jalopy that sits under the corner scoreboard at the games and do some very slow donuts for our own hype videos.
  14. Good game so far! If it makes anyone feel better, AAC does not normally have Wednesday night games. This was the rescheduled game from Oct 1st.
  15. That's a stretch. The Super Pit is older and slightly oversized. But Rice's football stadium is so old and poorly maintained that they'll be most likely soon be faced with structural issues with the upper deck similar to UAB's old Legion Field. UNT has done a decent job keeping the Pit up to date over the years. If UNT could figure out how to update the seating, which would probably lower the seat count due to widening the seats to 2022+ body standards, it would be a great on campus arena.
  16. Are we subject next year to some of the same Thursday/Friday scheduling of AAC games that we've seen this season and before? I assume it's a function of the ESPN contract and won't be changing? There have been some great AAC matchups in the recent years that have been scheduled on a Thursday to the attendance of 5k fans. We have always struggled with attendance at the occasional Thursday night game. Would be great if we were limited to at most one home non-Saturday game every other season.
  17. Oh I'm sure they're giving away tix or allowing specific groups to buy one game at face value or below (no $5k to $10k 5yr MGSF requirement, aka: seat license required). And heaven forbid you attempt to buy 4 extra tickets for a game if you have only normally have two seats. I did it once in 5 years and it was like an act of congress to make it happen. Lots of "we normally can't do this... lots of CL season tix holders will get mad... this is a one time gesture!" Nevermind those 4 extra tickets cost $550+ for seats that to this day I haven't seen anyone sitting in for half a decade. They have a serious problem within the next 7 to 10 years. Average age of the people who clearly are paying is late 60's to early 70's. Sub 45 year olds regulars that aren't gratis tix can be counted in the tens in the CL. It speaks to the decades of alienated fans that make up the DFW UNT alumni base. Isn't there a ADA/Handicap shuttle for the Orange Lot that will take you right to the front of Apogee by The Mean Joe statue? I know they have one for the Blue Lot, I saw it this past Saturday.
  18. Unless I'm missing something as a paying CL ticket holder, we don't need more premium seating. I'm convinced we're giving away tickets to half the people in the CL every week anyways. Not sure if the Letterman's Association can get any ex players free tickets on demand, but there's about 150-200 regular people and then a rotating group of ex players, Athletic Dept family friends, and the occasional player's families up there. My CL section I sit in has absolutely lost people YOY
  19. There it is... 🙄
