Oh I'm sure they're giving away tix or allowing specific groups to buy one game at face value or below (no $5k to $10k 5yr MGSF requirement, aka: seat license required). And heaven forbid you attempt to buy 4 extra tickets for a game if you have only normally have two seats. I did it once in 5 years and it was like an act of congress to make it happen. Lots of "we normally can't do this... lots of CL season tix holders will get mad... this is a one time gesture!" Nevermind those 4 extra tickets cost $550+ for seats that to this day I haven't seen anyone sitting in for half a decade. They have a serious problem within the next 7 to 10 years. Average age of the people who clearly are paying is late 60's to early 70's. Sub 45 year olds regulars that aren't gratis tix can be counted in the tens in the CL. It speaks to the decades of alienated fans that make up the DFW UNT alumni base. Isn't there a ADA/Handicap shuttle for the Orange Lot that will take you right to the front of Apogee by The Mean Joe statue? I know they have one for the Blue Lot, I saw it this past Saturday.

Unless I'm missing something as a paying CL ticket holder, we don't need more premium seating. I'm convinced we're giving away tickets to half the people in the CL every week anyways. Not sure if the Letterman's Association can get any ex players free tickets on demand, but there's about 150-200 regular people and then a rotating group of ex players, Athletic Dept family friends, and the occasional player's families up there. My CL section I sit in has absolutely lost people YOY

Was it during one of his QB keeper plays? None of the plays looked like they had damaging hits. Might just be another famous UNT S&C fail.

And the wild thing is there were LOTS of kids tailgating prior to the game. More than the last home game where the student section had a good turn out. It was sad to see that not even 10% of the kids tailgating made it in. And in regards to the weather. It was amazing weather. Probably the best weather we'll have for any of our home games this season. In the shade of the CL, and with the quiet nature of football games at Apogee (🙄) I was slipping in and out of sleep in my seat.

I would have rather you blamed it on COVID. If Seth can't figure out how to get teams ready for Game 1 in his 7th season as a head coach if a G5 team, exactly what else can we provide him so he appropriately coaches his players? 100k sq ft weight room expansion? A $100m a year NIL Collective donation?

At around $35k a week in pay whether he wins or loses, he sleeps just fine.

Seems there's zero desire to make the current scoreboard and audio better until someone forks out the donation for the expanded AD offices + South Endzone facility.

Far too optimistic here... We often get put in the absolute first possible day of bowl games. I regularly remember blocking 4hrs on my calendar and sitting at the office on a Tuesday or Wednesday in the middle of December to watch whatever Bad Boy Mowers type bowl we're in.

My better half begs me to follow my Masters Degree Alma Mater vs UNT where I spent 6 wonderfully unfocused years getting an undergrad degree. I told her the Masters Degree school is there to get me through Dec/Jan bowl season, since I can usually count on them for a conf championship and a NY6 bowl. Mean Green is a hell of a drug man...

You can understand what the lyrics are of most of the songs played? Our speakers are loud mush. Usually can't distinguish the words in stadium.

Our entire GameDay experience is a joke the more you go to away games. I get a bunch of downvotes every time I say it, but our games aren't engaging. I assume a bunch of UNT homers that never go to away games are downvoting. DJ Question Mark should be fired, our AV team is a joke, we rarely show replays, our band as talented as it may be isn't fun, and there tons of quiet periods during the game where you can hear a pin drop. The only GameDay experience I've been to that is worse are games at Rice.
