A List of chores Wren left Jared
Pavlovs Eagle replied to Tom McKrackin's topic in Mean Green Football
There already is one at the past few basketball games. Bro hits the moves better than most of the women on the team. 😂 -
In the promo videos posted by the Athletic Dept last night you can hear Mosley describing the asinine plans of doing multiple corner scoreboards as he walks Morris into Apogee with his fam. Only at UNT would we look at all the big beautiful widescreen endzone scoreboards across D1 facilities and say, let's get a bunch of little square video boards and put them in the corners when we eventually expand Apogee.

I step up every year with MBB and Football Club Level Tix and the required donations that aren't even tax deductable anymore. When is the Athletic Dept or MGSF going to step up and not give away cheap/free access to the Club Level to those not paying the normal big fees for access? It's not too hard to tell this is still regularly happening every week. I see too many "wow this is so cool" looks from randoms I never see again in the CL at every home game. Tough love... 💋

We should all be impressed UNT Athletics is actually doing some level of marketing... Granted most of it is cheap social marketing or emails from MailChimp.

I was unsure of this hire, but after reading 9 pages of posts, I am unsure of this hire. BUT, I begged for change from Seth and now we'll just see how it goes! GMG

One of Nick Saban coaches want to come back to UNT...
Pavlovs Eagle replied to Mo Green's topic in Mean Green Football
They make nothing when they're going through the Saban Witness Protection program. Definitely not even 1/4th of what we'll probably pay a coach with similar experience. -
It's not on jobs.untsystem.com. UNT HR is probably worried too many people from the message boards will apply.

He was at the Basketball game in Denton on Saturday after being introduced as WVU's new AD earlier in the week.

Breaking News Seth Littrell has been fired.
Pavlovs Eagle replied to TheReal_jayD's topic in Mean Green Football
Those brothers played since HS for the chance to play on Sunday. There's a lot of guys on our teams that know they aren't Sunday material, the Murphy twins know they could be. Face it, the twins had a glitzy P5 school in a huge media market with DTR as QB and Chip Kelly on the upswing... Or Denton where they were MAYBE going to get to a bowl game in 2021, but even that was unknown till the Saturday after Thanksgiving '21. -
The Transfer Portal works both ways. Players we don't want to lose started getting calls from recruiters LAST NIGHT saying "hey kid tough news about Seth, since you don't even know who the coach will be at North Texas, you need to just transfer over to our University. We can get you playing on Sunday in a few years, if you stay in Denton who knows if you'll even be playing on Saturdays next season." What a wonderful idea! I'm always inspired how we all coexist and work together so well on The Eagle's Nest forum. Productive conversations that are never shut down prematurely by our internet admin overlords are the hallmark of GoMeanGreen.com. 🤣

What is Seth Littrell’s Legacy to You?
Pavlovs Eagle replied to MeanGreenTexan's topic in Mean Green Football
I took my soon to be wife to her first CFB game at the Thursday night Army game where it was a windy 35 degrees. She hates the cold and she made it through. I figured she was for real about me at that point. We then upgraded to Club seats the last few years and she's a regular armchair Head Coach at this point. We'll be getting married (finally according to her) in Feb. I have to remind her she's seen some of the best UNT football since my days at UNT in the very early 2000's. If we don't win every game she's fired up and ready to trade-in the Mean Green for her D3 Northeast Liberal Arts college's lacrosse team. I've almost convinced her to let us get a big ass RV and have an absurd tailgate. She more excited about hosting a tailgate than me buying an RV. She's excited for the AAC and now expects Neal to lure Nick Saban to the Mean Green with this coaching change. That's a lot of what the Seth years have meant to me. -

Appreciate what the man did while he was here. No one said it's easy to win in Denton and there's a million things working against you. If he's truly gone I'm sure he will find a himself a good spot on a good team as an Analyst/Positions Coach/Coordinator. Will will see him again, and he may be more successful in a different environment. Hopefully he was wise with the windfall of money he's had the past few years. If so, he will be just fine making $45k a year in a teach me how to coach again program for a bit. -
It was a pleasantly entertaining game yesterday too, despite the weird start time. Was good to see the starters and almost the entire bench see the court. I saw a lot of people congratulating Wren both from UNT and Omaha.

Their new President seems to have fans hopeful that he truly sees Football as a front door to the University. He's a CU alum from the better days of Colorado football in the 80's/90's. Mark my words, if they get hot they will use it as a way to jet from the PAC12 to the BIG10.

I agree. I think he's a decent defender. And occasionally gets a few threes. He just needs to take em when he gets a decent look. They also put Stone in the gym over the off season. He put some muscle on himself. I wish they had had Scott in there with Stone putting some weight on.

Currently has more points than Perry with 7:54 to go... But he definitely has performance anxiety. He hits shots in practice pretty well.

Just got here and The Pit sure ain't packed.

We don't go anywhere from here. Seth will be back next year and he'll win 6 games and we'll be doing the same song and dance negotiation of just how awful he really is

I am so glad I didn't spend another $1k for both of us to rush down to San Antonio tonight. I spend a lot of money on UNT football and sometimes you just gotta draw the line. I do regret not having made it to Las Vegas for the PAC12 championship game.

Love when we let them convert third and longs. Hasn't Frankie converted every single one at this point?
