That's great, I am saying outside of Denton. UNT will never attract a huge audience from the general community in South Florida. As I am sure we are probably not a draw to the local community in Denton. Well, Kiffin draws but not huge.

I think he will be here next season. He already has made money, experienced the big time, he can wait it out and pick the right job. If he moves on I will be thankful for the season he gave us. Its been a great ride.

The game that happen last time was not the game I was expecting. I am worried about playing a team twice, that is always difficult. We both have great offenses. I think we still win 42-28 (my prediction for every game) just for the simple fact that you guys give up a ton of points. We will make more stops or force more FG's on defense. Around the middle of the 3rd quarter Motor just becomes too much. Its been a fun year, wouldn't mind having a yearly rematch with you guys in the CCG for the next several years while we both dominate our divisions.

Ooooooh yeah, sacrifice that game so you can spring a trap in the CCG!! Good strategy! I am looking for a good game.

Thank god, he said we were going to have 2,500. The fact of the matter who cares? I did my part I buy a ticket I bring friends. I am for firing the AD. On a side note after that game you guys are ALL over our record book!! Thanks!

I don't disagree, there is certainly risk anything you choose to do. But this CTE is different, participation rates are dropping like never seen before. You can rationalize all you want about this being just another bump in the road, but a lot of families will not let their kids play football anymore. There are other less risky options. Soccer is probably the most risky with heading of the non-football sports. I am a football fan hope they figure it out, but I am also a realist and like you guys we built pretty expensive stadium for a sport that may not exist as we know it in 15 to 20 years.

But the printer put Football Volleyball Soccer. This might not end well.

Unfortunately new technology in helmets doesn't stop your brain from bouncing around inside your skull. You might be right about the way the game look, but will anyone want to pay to see that game? Every game has a life cycle, football might be approaching retirement.

You beat me to the post regarding CTE. There will be a contraction of schools offering football. The CA, TX, FL states will be the last to hang on. But football is on life support dying and the patient doesn't even know. They think the panacea is coming.

YES! I think there is a slim possibility leaving before the bowl game, but I think he really will be on the sideline in 2018. Couple of factors, he doesn't have to take any job because he's already made money. He's stated that this is the most satisfying season he has had in coaching He bought (not rented) a $2 mill house on the intracoastal with boat and jet ski. The only perception I am concerned with is winning, the rest will take care of it self. The entire conference needs to improve where people know who the members are and more importantly they WANT to come out and see the game.

Like I said we look rabid compared to them, but literally if you think ours is bad their is non-existent. they have a 20k stadium and they announced 17k!!! They played at the same time UM - ND. Look at the video.

whats really funny is how bad FIU's attendance. They make every fanbase look rabid. They had a thread on their board wondering why only 200 students from 50k student university came to the game.
