UCF is not a big enough step up. He could replicate at FAU. UCF-FAU is on the schedule next year. That should be a lot of fun! ASU don't think its big enough of a job for LK he will take a pass and wait. He's got a team that is almost entirely coming back next season. He can wait.

Actually you are wrong. It's KB's offense with LK's input. The offense doesn't actually have a playbook. Kiffin made a comment saying if KB left he could call the plays but not like KB does.

Charlie Partridge was a great recruiter. He was great guy, he was everything you would want in your coach. He just couldn't get it done on the field and that is why he was let go. Kiffin said in the beginning that is unusual to take over a 3-9 team that had as much talent as we had. A lot of people want to say he loaded up on JUCO's (Last Chance U), but the reality it was pretty much the same team we had last year with about 3 significant starters that Kiffin brought in.

Like you guys its been a fun and un-expected season. 3 years of 3-9 finishes and no bowl game since 2008. I have enjoyed every second of it.

OK my friends I have been waiting all week to post my prediction. Re-matches are tough but I just think we have the better overall team. I believe we will have a higher efficiency on our drives in scoring. I just think our defense will make more stops and force punts. You will get your yards and some points but I don't believe you break 30. We have 10 game streak scoring greater than 30. Concerns the re-match, always hard to play a team twice. A slow start, but reports from practice is we are having a great practice week. We haven't created turnovers the last 3 weeks. Our turnovers. Motor had 2 turnovers lost last week (1 probably wasn't). Things to be optimistic. You guys give up a ton of points and rushing yards. If you gave up 140+ yards rushing to Rice makes Motor very happy and I expect a heavy dose of Buddy Howell as well. Driskel has become more than a game manager. High completion percentage and watch out for his running. Prediction, Franklin will throw the ball for the first time this season from the wildcat. 42-28 FAU win! I just don't believe you can stop our running game and by the 4th quarter we pull away for the win. Looking forward to the game, I have been dreaming about this since we open the stadium. Should be tourist board dream weather day high of 80 with a nice ocean breeze. GO OWLS!

There will be a good crowd there. If you are not familiar with the stadium, on the home side their is a premium section called the Hyundai Deck. From the 40 to the 40 there are high tops and standing room with Tiki bar. Many (most people) do not sit in there seats they stand their and have a big cocktail party. 100 section is filled, but the 200 seats are sold but not utilized.

I was going to post something for you to meet up and tailgate with us if you like. We park in the Red Lot (1 of the 2 lots you need a parking pass to). Its basically diagonally across the street (Southeast) of the stadium. We are on the east side of the red lot set up on the grass on the south end. Space 159. The lot east of the red lot is the silver lot. The silver lot is a cash lot for the game. Close walk to where we are. You actually enter the silver lot the same way you enter the red lot. If you enter the east entrance (it is 1 of the 2 entrances with a stop light and FAU signage) to the campus off of Glades Road you will be able to take the road all way around right up to the stadium to get into the silver lot. We probably will be there about 9 a.m. We have a white Publix tailgater of game tent. All are welcome, come on by. Look forward to seeing you Saturday.

Yes you are correct. Charlie did a great job recruiting. Good character guys, good grades and great players. Didn't go the JUCO route which I don't think was his decision, he was building it from the ground up. The play on the field never matched the talent we thought we had. Kiffin basically compliments Charlie Partridge every week about the guys he brought to the program. Apparently Kiffin, text's Partridge weekly as well. You know how some coaches don't want to acknowledge the past, Kiffin constantly compliments Partridge and even Howard Schnellenberger for the work he did in establishing the program. I am telling you if you go by the national media you really don't know who Kiffin is.

You will have to tell me the players you are referring to? Deandre Johnson (out due to blood clots; career may be over; he was from FSU) was recruited by previous staff and signed before Lane was hired. R-SR Khalib Woods was a Charlie guy and got in a bar fight in January. He wasn't a Lane guy. I think he should be kicked off the team. The university handled the situation, suspended him the first 6 games (wasn't allowed on campus until a week before the season) and took his scholarship away. It's not as much thug university as people think. Some kids need a second chance. I am kind of a hardliner but every team has redemption cases on it whether you know or not.

Must be! I think the visiting team gets to decide, but the home teams suggest what they would like to wear and is usually accommodated. Kind of disappointed hoping for all RED. Maybe they will do the NFL debacle color game where the Jets wore all green and the Bills wore all red creating havoc with us color blind!!!
