I think you called it. Hayes is showing a 4.8 40 and at his size that probably doesn't cut it at the D1 level. Hopefully, with 195 tackles, he'll end up with a good program if that's what he wants.

It was Ryan's FT shooting that drove us nuts. Ryan is still .553 (26-47) at the FTL this year (his 2-7 against UTA kind of skewed the numbers) with Hamlet shooting FTs at a .857 clip (48-56).

O- Christian Lee (I think he will be the leader of this class and a future team captain) D - Jordan Brown (future anchor on that side of the ball) Really good overall quality to this class. I had obvious unwarranted concern about holding this class together. Merry Christmas and Fly Like An Eagle.

I'd be looking for the best athletes available at any position. Otherwise, if we have 5 to give I'd be: DT, DB, LB, WR, QB. If only 4 then drop the LB. I still think we're thin in the DL if we go to an even front which I'm not sure we can do effectively with our current roster. With a new starting QB this next season, I'd be doing all that I could to get him the ball in best field position possible. But, hey, what team couldn't stand to improve at any position on their team. I'd also be looking for some WR help with our PWO. Defense and overall team speed. Let me just go ahead and add a "dah!" to those brilliant statements.

Not sure who that is between Joe Hamilton and Wendel Hart, but Tom Wolf (6'0" guard, Wendel was also 6'0") transferred in from Northeastern Oklahoma as a sophomore and was #30 on the 1969-70 team.
