So, is he just going to camps this summer? I dont see a problem with that... Is FSU recruiting him or is that something cool they do for guys at camp (putting on the uni and all)? From his twitter, it looks like hes going to a few camps. The rest of his stuff looks very Mean Green to me. Also, I am sure Seth and Co are keeping in touch often through all this.

I think the days of assuming successful college coaches go to the NFL are gone. Why would you go to the NFL when college jobs pay well, you have complete control, and are worshipped all over town (if your successful). If I was Lincoln, I wouldn't be going anywhere

Honestly... this is one of the things that has always seemed like a hurdle for us. Apparel is a big deal and not even having a decent Nike replica jersey for purchase is tough. So, I am saying... I don't think that is the issue here. You are right. It is a day to remember all of those who lost their lives 75 years ago on that beach. However, I don't know this is the place to be telling people no, they can't get excited about Fine for Heisman or the launch of this website bc if falls on the same day as D Day. They are still doing the season ticket pick up event in August during a scrimmage like they did last year. Also, I think they are going to tack on the garage sale we missed during the spring game as well. So I think an event now and the one in August is great. They can't make everyone happy.

One in Arlington and one in Denton seems like a pretty good spread for people to decide which one to go to.

I talked to Wren a little bit about this very topic. He said this is the direction they are going... One stop vs a bunch. He said the demand on their coaches is getting greater and having multiple stops would mean in the future you might not see Seth at all of them. He also said next year that they will try to line this event up with the Rangers University day for UNT

Who are rival really is... UTSA. Who we think our rival is... SMU Who I would like our rival to be... La Tech Hear me out... UTSA: we dont like them and they dont like us. We dont like them bc they came up fast and have a seat at a table that has take us years to get to. So, some of us look down on them and dont think they are qualified to be our rival. They are. SMU: Kind of the reverse of the above. SMU thinks they are way better than us and probably views us the we we view UTSA. However, they are in our backyard. They are snobby, we are a state school, they have the $$, we are using an old high school for some of our facilities. In the series... they OWN us. We need a few more wins before we can call this a true rivalry. Also, they are not in conference. So, once this agreement for games is over... theres no promise they will reup. La Tech: This one make a lot of sense. They win. They are the next state over. We should care about beating them and they should about us. However, I just dont see the rivalry there. Why is that? Anyway... those are my thoughts

I wonder what it says that there are so many G5 schools in the top 25 as far a spending goes... Thoughts?
