  1. This whole area is experiencing massive growth. The university is in a constant state of construction and so is the city of Denton. These are great things and it is exciting to be able to see first hand the transformation that is taking place. But the roads in Denton are in horrible condition, I feel like the infrastructure is simply inadequate to accommodate more traffic. It will get fixed, but how soon I have no clue.
  2. Before any discussion can begin about expansion, there has to be infrastructure and systems in place to accommodate growth. If this season unfolds like we all want it to. Then these problems must be fixed in order to expand everything relating to athletics at North Texas. -GMG https://www.ntdaily.com/late-overcrowded-shuttles-reported-at-unt-vs-smu-game/
  3. Thank you! My CUSA feed has been down since the latter part of the first set 😕
  4. They finally play at home after playing in back to back tournaments on the road. I’m very concerned because they haven’t won a set since playing Baylor (pretty sure but not certain). Hoping they can shock the world today! -GMG
  5. Moving forward. I wonder how many people will show up to the Louisiana Tech game.
  6. .....and this game is supposedly their real rivalry game. SMU has to be perfect with their coaching hires because no one shows up even when they’re winning. Sonny Dykes is who we thought he was, a risky re-tread.
  7. SMU finally held on to an interception.....aaaaand never mind 😒
  8. there is no one in the stands. SMU probably wasn’t going to have many fans show up, but the rain delay made it worse....if there is such a thing at SMU
  9. SMU keeps dropping would be interceptions.
  10. I think the jearsy and pants combination is fine...I just do think the helmets fit the combo. Maybe if they were gloss and not flat black.
  11. UIW has a true freshman starting on Saturday. I wish him the best of luck, just not between the hours of 6:30 and 9:30 on September 8th.
  12. SMU is that pop star that had a string of hits 35 years ago and doesn’t realize their time has come and gone.
  13. It’s still early but ol Willy Grier is a Heisman hopeful
  14. I looked it up and Daniel Meager has the record at 601 against SMU in 2007.....according to Wikipedia.
  15. Single game passing record for North Texas is I think 601 yards. I’m not saying that’s what going to happen because I don’t think Mason Fine will have to play the whole game but it would be cool to see some records broken. -GMG
  16. I’m hoping North Texas can finally make some noise in the NCAA tournament. This team is playing very well right now. They had a tough loss to Santa Clara but they were ranked 12th at the time I believe.
  17. It seems unusual to me that the OOC schedule has taken this long to come out. Hoping for something big.
  18. SMU is 5-4 against North Texas since 1990. That’s pretty competitive in my view.
  19. The better SMU plays after this game, the better it will be for North Texas as it will be seen as a quality win.
  20. They have a tough slate coming up. They travel to Kansas next. They’ll face Kansas State, Oregon State, and Wisconsin. Luckily the game against Wisconsin is in Denton. Should be a lot of fun!
  21. Looking good so far this season.
  22. Hopefully there will be some arial shots of Apogee coming out. Similar to the ones taken of the Houston game when Apogee first opened.
  23. McKinnon just tore his ACL and is done for the year. Who knows what might happen going forward.
  24. I think you’re right, it’s not so much the running backs as it is the offensive line, it’s worrisome for sure.
  25. Stumbled upon this on YouTube. Cool video from way back.
