  1. Ugh..that was a complete punking if I ever saw one. 😕
  2. The whole state of Wyoming supports UW, they’re a strong brand and the campus and area are amazing. Interested to see how North Texas is going to handle the elevation when they play there. My hope is that the MWC drops San Jose State but seeing as they’re the only G5 school in the Bay Area, it probably isn’t going to happen.
  3. So the question is, what is North Texas? Is it a Top G5 or bottom G5 school? 🤨
  4. I feel like we are constantly trying to sell our “potential”....I agree with you, if we could only get out of our own way.
  5. What’s worse is they’re a conference “peer”
  6. Yes. Just be warned. It’s a dumpster fire in there
  7. I see what you’re saying in that case. I would still prefer that then Just having that booster pay them under the table with cash in a brown paper bag...tax free. No one knows the full details of this thing yet so I’ll give you that, could be good could be bad. I’m a firm believer in capitalism and this scam the NCAA has been running needs to come to an end.
  8. As long as they charge $250 that then goes into the MGSF, then I’m ok with it. Otherwise it’s just ridiculous and a stupid idea *sarcasm
  9. How would it bring payments out in the open? I read some of the restrictions and it stated boosters can’t use endorsements as a means of payment or admission. 🤷🏽‍♂️
  10. I don’t see this as a bad thing. Taking power away from shady boosters will help everyone. If you want G5 schools to get a chance to compete you need to give more power to the athletes and change the status quo. The system as it stands now only benefits the blue bloods and the power conferences. But if the NCAA is initiating this I doubt they’re doing this out of a sense of “doing the right thing”
  11. I think we all know how that return game is going to play out
  12. Have to agree, no pro day probably hurt a lot of guys as well. If you came from a small school and drafted you they probably had been watching you for a while. Seems like very few surprises in the draft this year.
  13. Good offensive lineman don’t grow on trees. This is a problem at the NCAA level and the Pro level. Next level athletes over come this.
  14. Well, I would say that since Baker arrived we finally have an AD (he’s also VP of the school) that was ambitious and wasn’t comfortable with the status quo. We have barely started to move in the right direction. Hayden Fry tried and then it sputtered out for almost 30 years? Then DD came and that was a blimp in the grand scheme of things of college football. Three winning seasons in the last 17 years? We have a long way to go.
  15. Well said.
  16. You’re good man. Just trying to have some humor about it. Very disappointed but I just don’t want to stew about something I can’t control.
  17. Sarcasm my man.
  18. How could this be?! He worked out with Drew Brees?! Are you telling me that meant nothing?!
  19. Crazier things have happened. I was up and then immediately kicked in the BA-11s
  20. Welp 3 winning seasons in 17 years doesn’t help....but then again even crappy teams have had people drafted. The longer this goes on the more embarrassing it gets. Draft isn’t over yet though.
  21. Sneed and Robertson back to back in the 4th round
  22. Brees went to Purdue, let’s not act like he was at Ohio State. I’m not buying the bias thing because it sounds too much like some conspiracy thing. Wilson has fumble concerns and injury concerns, Cobb had injury concerns, Dunbar is not an every down back which limited his draft stock. You can go down the list and find reasons why these guys didn’t get drafted. I’ll meet you half way and say that the talent of those guys couldn’t overcome the small school bias.
  23. Students on campus means you can have people in the stadium. If you play a game with no one in the stadium the school is taking a huge financial hit since no revenue is being made. Also I’m pretty sure Coach Andy Mac is a burner account for an admin on the board 😆
  24. If that were true explain Drew Brees and Kyler Murray. Fine height isn’t going to keep him from being drafted it’s the other things. There were also some receivers that were drafted that were below 6 feet. There in no bias of North Texas, this program just hasn't produced players that a GM is willing to draft.
  25. Again...why are you going to let the ship sink for the sake of woman’s water polo. Exceptions are going to have to be made.
