The plot thickens. As I understand it, the SEC needs four member institutions to vote no? Assuming A&M is one of them. Probably Missouri and Arkansas are voting no too? It seems. No matter what A&M does, they’re always going to be overshadowed by Texas.

I remember when SL got hired and how people were saying it was going to be fun to watch if he came to North Texas and established an offense like Texas Tech’s. How it would be such a great recruiting pitch for QBs to tell them “hey do you want to lead the NCAA in passing?” Well….here we are and yeah SL can score points but it’s frustrating to watch when the defense is soft AF.

You must not be paying attention because their Football team gets plenty of attention and their softball team and mens basketball team have both made the NCAA Tournament. I’m no fan of Liberty “University” by any means but I’m also not going to ignore reality 😅

As a brand with name recognition they are bigger than North Texas. For better or worse. Facilities are great, they are willing to spend the money and they’re getting results. You can’t ignore any of these things and say no one talks about them because they do.

I’m reasonable in the real world and with real issues. I wouldn’t be on here if I wanted to be reasonable about sports. I just like North Texas’ all time great athletes to stay but I guess I should just adopt the just be grateful they were here mentality that so many traumatized North Texas fans have. 😅

She did not pick OU for the graduate school I guarantee you that. She’s going there to play softball. It says more about our “HOF” that we would have a player in there at the top of her game chose to play somewhere else instead of building something for the next generation. It’s her decision wish her luck, but I’m not going to sit here and be overjoyed because I’m pretty sure during the season she was being contacted and that doesn’t portray a player that was “all in” when her teammates needed her to be.
