    The only way this would come to be is if the PAC12 doesn’t go for any of the Texas schools. New leadership within the PAC12 is giving the indication that they will. My question does North Texas benefit more from the BIG12 breaking up or staying together?

    The power schools don’t give a crap about travel costs so yeah….travel costs are only a lower tier problem.

    Their new commissioner came from the casino business…the PAC12 is about business, this is a new age, let’s not dwell in the past.

    Best President by far. He’s presided over a very good era in sports and has elevated the academic prestige of the university in his tenure here. He’s also influential within CUSA as well.

    It’s ironic because these athletes are well…without wrinkles? 😅……and no way that kid is making a million dollars if he skips school. He won’t see the field for like two years.

    They won’t be adding teams just to add them. It apparent that these conferences are going to grow and the P5 is going to coalesce into two or three super conferences, which will bring in more revenue not less. College football is the second biggest sport in this country. The media rights that these super conferences along with the new playoff model are going to be insane.

    I would like to see Air Force and Colorado State along with the boring private schools of Tulsa and Tulane. These maneuvers take a dynamic and charismatic commissioner….soooo yeah. 🥲

    The reality is probably no more P5 and in its place is a P2 where college football resembles an AFC/NFC kind of league. BIG is contacting USC and there are reports of the ACC merging with the SEC. frankly the BIG12 is screwed, it’s going away any thoughts on getting in that league a foolish because they’re not going to be around much longer. I don’t see any movement “up” maybe a lateral move as the rest of the programs ascend into college football heaven in this sports rapture we are heading into
