***Official UNT vs. Cal Bears In-Game Discussion***

Go find a cactus. I think you know what to do with it. -
Gordon is a horrible quarterback. Edit: Borghi is why they won tonight IMO

I wouldn't call him god, because he's not. But he's less cheaty and dishonest than Holgerson. Other game notes, King looks like a lame duck in the pocket. If we can keep him in the pocket and our DBs can play decent man coverage, we could cause some problems. Exotic blitzes could help too. From my amateur eye, it doesn't look like he can read the defense that quickly. Edit: All that being said you MUST spy King.

Both coaches are cheaters so it's not that surprising.

Gordon is not a good quarterback. He can throw it on the deep ball and zing it in when he sees it, but his decision making is S L O W.

https://www.mercurynews.com/2019/09/11/no-bosa-as-49ers-practice-in-youngstown-before-bengals-game/ "Running back Tevin Coleman (ankle) did not practice and likely won’t for a couple weeks. The 49ers likely will wait until Saturday to promote Jeff Wilson Jr. from the practice squad." It sounds like he's going to get a look during the regular season. Happy he's still hanging on.

Tre had a decent night but the fact that he's pleased despite the loss should be a concern.

Deleting fan posts but not deleting obvious trolls appears to be the MO of this board.

Really Bert. Really. That's the title you go with.

So the punt returner should try to catch a bouncing football with two SMU defenders within 3 feet of him and if he screws up they score a touchdown? Nah, that was not the problem with our game plan.

As big of a fan of Mason as I am....I saw underneath receivers open that he didn't throw to. This is a pattern I noticed last year. He looks for the home run and doesn't take the check down often enough. I love his spirit and his talent, but Bodie, from what I've heard and seen and read, wants to hit big money on each play. You're not going to get that at this level, this isn't FCS. We lost because of our hubris tonight, in my opinion.

Posts are being deleted from this thread by the way. If you say something controversial toward the trolls, expect your post to be deleted.

Really, my posts are being deleted now? God damned fascists.

That fan is my spirit animal.

Part of the reason Mason has had success here is because he doesn't always need to see what's going on, he knew the offense well enough to know where to throw on the field without necessarily being able to clearly see it. I think this may be a problem with a lack of familiarity with Reeder's offense.

This is why I tend to blame coaching. We've seen them make catches in tight coverage and deal with man coverage before. Why couldn't they get open tonight? To me it seems that it has to be scheme.
-
I hope you get crotch rot.

Certainly isn't us.

Screw off with this.

He was underpressure all last season and we still won a shitton of games.
