  1. Nah, the bridge is fine. Just needs some duct tape.
  2. I also hold the mainstream media responsible for this. You'd think China locking down basically the entire ******* country in January should have sent some clear signals to the mainstream press. I know I sure as **** was paying attention back in January. My friends called me crazy when I said that this would be a pandemic and would tank the world economy back in February.
  3. First detected case. So the travel ban from China wasn't a directive (which by the way is a major reason why we're just now seeing this pop up in the US). The fact of the matter is NYC leadership did not act quickly enough and did not take it seriously enough even as late as early March when De Blasio was telling people to go about their normal lives and that everything was fine. But they aren't the main people to blame, though if they had acted sooner NYC could have mitigated some of this. The entire world underestimated this because the Chinese Communist Party lied to the entire world about their numbers. They are to blame for the whole world's lack of preparedness for this severity of this virus.
  4. As a West grad, football has always been awful. Not much gonna change that.
  5. As much as I usually disagree with what you post you made one of the most important points about this virus. Pneumonia is not a "mild" symptom and it is the result of secondary infection from the effects of the virus (as far as I can tell as someone that isn't a medical professional). Not only that a "mild" case of pneumonia can easily turn into a severe case. I think our medical system (in the US) will treat pneumonia as a serious symptom and will try to hospitalize most people that have it, but based on what I've seen, that's what they tried in Italy and they are out of hospital beds in the most affected regions. We are going to see some pretty serious triage if this is all accurate. I hope I'm wrong. Even if you live through the pneumonia the lesions caused by the virus in the lungs causes permanent scarring. Stay away from people if you can. @FirefightnRick, keep doing good work and good luck. I hope the FD has enough PPE to protect you guys.
  6. We are not prepared for this. I think things are going to get a lot worse before they get better, unfortunately.
  7. Looked like very targeted exercises. Not gonna knock Mason for it and hopefully they are a routine he can incorporate into his own to make himself better.
  8. https://www.instagram.com/masonfine09/?hl=en You have to have an Instagram account to see it. If you have one, tap/click on the profile pic, but Mason worked out with Drew Brees. I think that's a good sign!
  9. Yeah not sure Hambone is best suited at LB lol. Stick him on the edge to feed on QBs.
  10. Thanks for reporting on this AFTER I ordered Jimmy John's yesterday. What a real big help.
  11. I wonder if he thinks he may get a chance to watch his son play on Saturdays....
  12. There was no conviction for Faison. This article details what happened. https://www.therolladailynews.com/news/20191230/last-chance-u-recruited-athletes-disciplined-for-sex-offenses
  13. The details for Faison's case are available online if you want to go find them. Who knows what actually happened, not passing judgement or anything on anybody. He could be guilty, she could have made it all up, or anything in between. I think we need to vet our players more for these types of incidents, but at the same time I don't think we should just blanket ban any transfers of people with these incidents. We should look at these guys on an individual basis and make sure we're getting all sides of the story to make a decision. I don't know anything about recruiting or how in depth coaches get with the guys backgrounds, but I do find it strange that apparently SL did not know about this incident. You'd think one of the first questions would be "Why did you leave Purdue to go to Independence CC?".
  14. Not just dorms. The apartments I lived in off-campus (were considered student apartments and required to be a student to lease them) back in 2011-2013 only had one internet service provider, which was Apogee (and their internet sucked).
  15. They said the same thing about Kason Martin too.
  16. Mason would have torn that **** up.
  17. As smart as he is, he could make a better living doing something non-football related in the States.
  18. Yeah, Joe Burrow really disrupted LSU's perception as a rebound guy. Give me a break.
  19. I'm sad they didn't rely on him as a reception back later in the game. But the Chiefs did what they did all year. When they're down, they adjust and rapidly gain points. Mahomes is an elite QB but he also has an elite supporting class. Shanahan is a good coach and knows talent. Even if Jeff isn't retained, he should have another shot given his production this year. But I wouldn't be surprised if he is retained. I think Shanahan likes him.
  20. It looks like Tevin Coleman is going to be active so I think his chances of being active for the Superbowl are low unfortunately.
  21. I know we want to demoralize our opponents but I'm not sure we need to go this far.
  22. The brace? Braces are pretty normal for healing. That being said, he won't be ready for spring it looks like.
