Brammer doing some work today. The Oline play is so much better than last year. Imagine Mason with this line.

A lot less laundry on the field this game. At least we've used the past four weeks to clean that crap up.

I bet we don't play a single game the rest of the year.

Prediction....we play today. I don't like being a profit of doom, but I will throw it in your face every chance I get. -
Dude just let her pick whichever volleyball program is doing better if she wants to win.

What have we done wrong?

Lol. UTEP is on them? How? Nobody in their program tested positive. The game was going to be played without a crowd. No, UTEP is on us and it is tantamount to forfeiting. I'd really like to know where you're getting the info that the cancellation this weekend is on UAB. I haven't seen anything to blame one side or the other.- 28 replies

Like cancelling games when there is no real reason to do it? Reminder, no UTEP or UNT players or coaches have tested positive for covid.

There is no danger. If the teams are negative there is no danger. I think they didn't want to play and possibly lose to UTEP. Just like the Houston game. I'm getting on the get rid of SL train now, and I'm also wanting to start a get rid of Baker train. This is ridiculous.

If there are no positive tests there is no danger to either team or the community. The teams are probably better tested than the community is anyway.

The key here is the Oline. IMO, the Oline was successful tonight for the most part in the pass game. HOWEVER, the Oline was fantastic in the run game tonight. Offense goes as the oline goes. Oline gave both the RBs and Bean the running room they needed. Scheming against the QB run is a good point. At the beginning of the year I thought Aune was the better passer and Bean was the better runner, but Bean didn't turn the ball over, either on a fumble or on an INT, and his passes had good "zip" to them when needed. Aune pressed tonight and got two INTs in the first quarter for it. He also held the ball too long on the RPO play where he fumbled. That was a theme against Charlotte as well in terms of Aune turnovers. I'm excited to see what Bean can do. I want our RBs to control the game though. I'm not comfortable with either QB and we need to put every effort into the Oline runblocking and our RB room until either Bean or Aune can confirm their status as starter, though at this point, Bean should obviously be the starter. That being said, arm talent is a thing and, at this point, I do think in terms of power Aune has the more powerful arm. If he can get the other stuff sorted, maybe he can reclaim the starting position. However, we roll with Bean at this point. If he struggles, try Aune again. It really plays to us that they have a different skillset. If we swap them out midgame it changes the dynamics of the entire offense.

All 127 FBS Teams Automatically Bowl Eligible This Year
peanuts104 replied to MGNation92's topic in Mean Green Football
I just don't understand the mindset of undermining the current coach. It's a ****show for sure at the moment, and last year. But what if the ship turns and we not only go to a bowl but win? Will you still **** on him? Again, I want to be clear, after SMU I was optimistic, but after Southern Meth I was distraught. SL needs to either right the ship or go on. It's sad because he is obviously good at evaluating offensive talent. We've had a lot of offensive talent come to us since he came here, and it is an integral part of today's game. I don't have a real solution, I just remember the (relatively recent) days where we couldn't even pass the ball because they practiced more blocking than they did catching. I won't hold water for SL, though. These performances are not indicative of someone paid like he is. -
So...you want the guy that has been coaching our disastrous special teams to coach or equally as disastrous defense? Eh, why not. Doubt it will make a difference. I was optimistic until Southern Miss. I bet we're the only team they will beat all year.

Hey dumbass, that's what spring ball and fall camp are for. All programs are dealing with soft tissue injuries that would normally be "trained" out by season open. Get with the times and read some news gramps. Well i guess I should have looked at the date of the thread. I'm the dumbass, but I will say I find it a really strange habit of members of this forum to bring up old posts from years and years ago.

After what RV put us through, not him. Let another small business take it. Edit: Since I'm getting hate for this, I'm going to be more honest about my thoughts on RV. **** RV. He bought that ****** restaurant on the money paid to him by our university. **** RV. I hope he has no success in the rest of his life unless it directly involves him handling feces by hand.
