  1. Look here, the only thing I ever said was, for 2020 and 2021, when we were having QB disasters, why not give him some drives and see how he does? He never got a fair chance here.
  2. I'm just sayin...bring my boy back. *anticipatory thrown shoes dodges*
  3. This. I was really hoping we could hold on to Clements, but being realistic, he was likely going to be poached anyway. That unit has made significant strides in the past two years and I hope we don't see a decline.
  4. I have found the theme video for this thread.
  5. Agreed with everything in here.
  6. First, clock management isn't Aune's fault in the first UTSA game this season. Second, saying any other qb could have done what Fine did in The Drive is crazy. You have to be functionally deficient to think any other qb could have done that. Sure, Bussey caught and ran a damn good route (probably off schedule) to win the game. Yeah, that's great. But Fine got lit up staying in the pocket to get it to Bussey. And that wasn't even the entire Drive. Your stupid defense of Aune is beyond dumb. Just go to bed.
  7. Tell me I'm wrong, frendo.
  8. QBR is bullshit and Fine won us games we should have lost (like The Drive). That's the difference. Fine won despite the shitty circumstances despite the shitty line. Aune LOST despite good circumstances and despite a good line. douchebag off you douchebaging dumb Aune apologist. I hope he plagues another team shortly. Yall know im right.
  9. Wait, is this a "thank you even though you are transferring" thread? Or is he out of eligibility. I love Whitlock's play and best to him either way, but if he's going to the portal, man, short sighted imo.
  10. I quoted it dumbass. Edit: that's not fair, let me explain. When I classify a qb as a "gamer", they win unconventionally. Aune LOST unconventionally. He's not a "gamer" qb. He's just bad at decision making.
  11. If you actually think Aune is salvageable at this point and not completely destroyed by incompetent QB coaching, you are delusional.
  12. Yeah I've definitely been holding back on my trash talk I really want another team to take him.
  13. 5 more to be precise.
  14. He could, but I'm going to go based on past performance, not potential upside, especially considering, in some ways, Aune regressed from 2021 to 2022 despite the better passing stats (didn't make as many critical mistakes/put the ball in harms way/etc). We need to move on to someone else we can develop for the future.
  15. I never said he was a receiver, I just said he needed to get better at decision making in the pocket, which he did. He was a much better qb at Kansas then he was here and part of that is offensive scheme and qb coaching. Edit: Whoever downvoted this objectively true statement, have a good Christmas please. Clearly you are super bitter. I get downvoting the rest of my stuff, but this one? Really?
  16. Speak for yourself.
  17. What a piece of ****
  18. A new qb will have growing pains next year. A competent coaching staff can mitigate that.
  19. Nothing pretty
  20. This bowl game is next to meaningless. Competing for a conference title is not.
  21. To all you people that criticize seniors for sitting out bowl games, THIS IS WHY THEY DO IT. I hope it isn't serious, but that does not look good.
