Okay, this is probably my favorite thing I have seen in a long time. Great production quality, good length, great player, and amazing man. Do we know how many of these there will be, how often they'll come out, or which players they are going to cover?

Very nice. Although I doubt D-Mac still gives us that sweet $15k 😂

Congrats on having a couple of really smart kids, just make sure they take care of you as you start to get older haha. My oldest brother was/is a marine who was injured in Afghanistan several years back and now my parents absolutely refuse to let us work with the military (even though another older brother and my sister both went in after that happened). Thanks for the information, but I am mainly looking at Texas schools right now.

Hey everyone, in 9 months I'm going to be applying to medical school. One of the thing admissions committees want to see is experience shadowing a physician. For those who did internships or shadowing while at UNT how did you go about doing that? I really don't know where to start as far as getting in contact with someone to talk about this kind of thing. Thanks in advance.

So as someone who is comparatively new to the whole UNT athletics scene could someone please explain to me in detail what the group of 17 is. I've seen it referenced several times but still have no clue what it even is. Thanks.

UTSA has 2 more than we do, but they have 17 more than LA Tech.

Do you think it is dangerous for President Trump to further escalate the situation with North Korea? Do you think we'll end up going to war with them? Other thoughts? -
Here is an overview of our current roster. I put RS guys in whatever their RS class is (i.e. RS FR = FR). The current breakdown of our roster by classification & position: Classification: Freshman: 38 Sophomore: 29 Junior: 29 Senior: 18 By Position: QB: 6 RB: 8 OL: 19 WR: 18 TE: 3 FB: 2 DB: 21 LB: 14 DT: 8 DE: 6 S: 4 DS: 2 P: 2 K: 2 I think this shows that we really do have a young team. For comparison here is UTSA's breakdown: Freshman: 42 Sophomore: 19 Junior: 28 Senior: 27 So, if a freshman is worth 1 year, sophomore worth 2 years, junior worth 3 years, senior worth 4 years then UNT has 255 years while UTSA has 272 years. Also, here is LA Tech, because why not right?! Freshman: 37 Sophomore: 20 Junior: 26 Senior: 16

Happy to see a scout was here, shame that he came when Kishawn was hurt though :(. -
I think for the Lamar game I'm gonna graze around a few tailgates and kinda notice what everyone is doing/bringing and then I'll set up my own tailgate for the second game.

We're on the home stretch now folks. Fire up your smokers and start warming up your lungs. It's almost time to set CUSA on fire.

So I get bored a lot because A) It's summer B) Classes don't start for 3 more weeks & C) Football just seems too far away. So I did a positional analysis of recruiting and here's the breakdown: 2017 Class: WR: 4 with an average rating of .8244 QB: 1 with an average rating of .7826 OL: 6 with an average rating of .7693 CB: 2 with an average rating of .7500 LB: 2 with an average rating of .7832 ATH: 1 with an average rating of .7926 DL: 2 with an average rating of .7800 S: 1 with an average of .7793 RB: 1 with an average of .7793 2018 Class: WR: 0 recruited so far QB: 2 with an average rating of .7908 OL: 4 with an average rating of .7736 CB: 0 recruited so far LB: 3 with an average rating of .7674 ATH: 0 recruited so far DL: 1 with an average rating of .7999 S: 1 with an average rating of .7698 RB: 1 with an average rating of .7732 So these are the numbers we're working with right now. We probably have 8-10 more players coming in this class. I think the breakdown of the remaining scholarships will be: 1 ATH, 1 CB, 4 WRs, 1 S, 2 DLs, & 1 OL

I'm not trying to fight but I do want to provide an extra layer of analysis here. So far we have picked up 4 OL recruits. OL on average have a lower rating than skill positions. Marshall has 4 OL and their average is brought down, Rice has 4 OL with their highest OL being rated @ 0.7757 (about .02 below our best OL). Every other school has 2 or fewer OL commits. If they pick up more of them then their average will go down. We haven't picked up any of our skill position guys who typically get higher ratings. We don't have any CB or WR commits yet. Last season our 5 best recruits were either WRs or CBs. So until we get our WRs & CBs set up then I'm not going to be concerned. Also: FAU only has 1 commit so that isn't likely a good predictor of the final class average.
-
Any ideas or guesses who our next commit is going to be? We already have 12 commits so I'm guessing we'll get 8-10 more commits in this class. My guess for next to commit would be either Jaxon Gibbs or Jordan Rucker. Thoughts?

I agree that army is ranked way too high. The rest seem about right +/- 10 spots.

https://mweb.cbssports.com/ncaaf/cbs-poll We're currently ranked 114 out of 130. It's an improvement over last season when we started out 127 out of 128. Other notable rankings: Iowa: 37 LA Tech: 61 Army: 68 SMU: 83 Southern Miss: 84 UTSA: 88 ODU: 91 FAU: 95 Rice: 118 UTEP: 123 UAB: 129

Hey everyone, I've never really done the whole college football tailgating thing before but I want to do it this year. Any tips or advice on tailgating?
