I really hope you're right. That would be a very good sign for the season to come. I have a hard time assessing our defensive status without English. The loss could be easily absorbed by backups or it could be a pass for teams to run over us down the middle.

Here's what I'm thinking will happen: Mason plays through the first 3 quarters and then Quinn will play the 4th quarter to get some game reps. Mason will throw for 225 yards & 3 TDs Jeff Wilson will have 115 yards & 2 TDs Defense will look good getting 1 turnover, 4 sacks, and 10 TFL Final Score: 45-21

Kiffin gets another one. Transferring from West Virginia. Was great out of HS, but didn't make depth chart in spring & coaches said he had personal issues he had to work on. Also didn't show up for fall camp. Kiffin gets another good (maybe?) but shady player with a bad history & personal issues.

The "Other sides" comment should have been "many sides" or "both sides" my bad. It was in reference to what happened in Charlottesville. Protesting is one of the most American things a person can do. I didn't downvote you btw. I don't downvote opposing views. I'm all for having a rational conversation about what the best mode of action is, but that requires listening and reasoning on both sides.

Interesting speaker choice given UNT's liberal reputation. They were smart enough to move it off of main campus though, otherwise pretty much everyone living on campus or within a 10 mile radius would come and protest at it. Personally I don't like that my tuition & fees go to speaking fees for very divisive public figures, let alone the "Other Sides" guy's son. But, this decision has been made. USA has a 43-35 all time record, played in a bowl game in 2014 & 2016. They're playing a home game against Okie State this year. They aren't a blow over team. Yes they play in the belt, but they are on the better end of belt teams imo. So yes, I would rather play a medium belt team than a terrible in-state team.

We'll get to play Alabama teams twice a year then. That's fine by me.

I'm going to send an email to Wren (as well as a string of tweets) with the best/my favorite ideas for improving game day at Apogee. Side Note: What do you think about the idea of having the option of choosing a bracelet to get into a game instead of a ticket? Would have the same kind of scannable barcode on it & would help (imo).
