    What is the longest winning streak in North Texas history? IF we can beat FAU, and that’s a big IF. We have a chance to run the board putting us on a 9 game winning streak.

    I’ve got UNT winning this 45-32. Big Predictions: Jeff will run for 150 yards on 20 or fewer carries. Mason will throw for 275 yards with 2 TDs and an INT. Rain will cost us at least one turnover Trevor Moore will hit a 40+ yard FG. Nick Smith will see some playing time and get 50 yards.

    Bryce English is still out unfortunately :-(. Andy Flusche though had 4 tackles, 2 of which were solo and 2 were for a loss and he had 1/2 of a sack. Seemingly low numbers but he was often double teamed and he got mighty close to hitting home a few times.

    The deal with that is that preseason projections play a role in ranking. Throughout the season that plays a lesser role. Right now it’s around 30% of your ranking. Our preseason projection was BAAAAAAAD. Also, our defense hasn’t been statistically that strong, especially at the beginning of the season.

    CBS: Cactus Bowl vs Arizona SB Nation: St. Petersburg vs Memphis (Dickey matchup) More will be released throughout the day today and tomorrow and I will update this post as they come in. I would be happy with either of these, but would prefer the Cactus Bowl.
