i'm suggesting that its one of many reasons kids would likely pass over UNT for Boise... Winning and games on National TV... NFL Production in terms of draftees and UDFA... Boise is viewed as a winner becuase its past decade and UNT has been to 2 HoD Bowls in that time.. Again these can be viewed as "excuses" but this are all true, ontop of them likely having better coaches/recruiters as well. I hope that UNT can turn it around be a Boise State/TCU but we have to get our problems in house fixed before we worry about losing kids to Boise compared to losing them to UTSA

While I agree the flag could be in a better spot, we have to remember that they do plan on expanding different sports and moving around facilities like soccer and track.. We don't know what the plan is for the Superpit or baseball in the next 3-5 years(could it be created or moved) but they likely didn't want to place it in a spot and then have to move it.

Because Boise is still a big name school that has produced NFL players, and that wins.. Doesnt hurt having 3 Boise State guys in the Cowboys defenses either that are big names (Crawford, Lawerence, Orlando)

My bad, The comment I quoted from @Cerebus was about the money in hand/IPF.. I thought it was saying we already had the money for the IPF and was waiting on construction plans.. He meant that we had the $ for the soccer/track and it was delayed because of the construction part.

I thought they had the plan and everything, and was just waiting some more donor $.. with them having 2 of the 3 big donations they wanted? Or did I misread/miss something? Also worth noting at the end of the meangreeensports link, it says "It will also be the initial project leading into the announcement of a 20-year master plan later this fall, which will include several capital campaign initiatives"

Yea it's a possible CUSA problem, if the Big10/12 can provide enough teams.. but they haven't filled it so it doesn't matter about the match up when it's so low on the order for them to fill.

How did I defend it??? When I was pointing out people were saying the sky is falling calling for coaches to be fired, wondering if we/when we would win next and now people are complaining about a bowl game... Once we get bowl eligible then we can worry about who we are playing or who CUSA would be playing because neither Big10/12 got enough teams last year.

He should get the credit for Fines improvement, but his play calling isn't getting better like it needs to be..

Why are people all worked up over the bowl game match up? On Sunday and Monday it seemed like most people wanted the coaches removed and had given up on the team, and now we are mad we won't play in Dallas but in Fort Worth Potentially...

Is there a difference between 100 or 120 feet??? Also, no idea if it matters but they did have to dig/bury it deeper as well. Would be dumb to go rebuy a new one if it had been cut before putting it into the ground

UNT brought big crowds to HoD. I'm sure that Armed Forces will account for that, with UNT being a local team as well.
