Game was lost because of stupid penalties and the inability to convert on 3rd down.. Preston looking at you buddy.. you alone accounted for 1/3 or 1/4, not sure the final count on penalties but that killed us.. Very poor ST from the KR blocking with Darden only getting out to 15 on kicks that were short is terrible.. stupid Fair Catch interference as well by hall, when the guy has signaled and may have been trying to fake out Hall but dude you see the PR get away or another teammate say something.. The FG block was a missed block by Andy... Punting again was terrible, looked like Murray in the most recent BTG episode when the QBs try to hit the uprights and he kicked the ball back. Again the 3rd down offense I do not get if it's 3rd and 5.. why run a 3 yard in? Murray allowed Fine to get blown up.. Wilson great game, Quinn great drive, Guyton looks the part of a Go To WR.. Overall, Yes a bad game but way more impressed after Iowa compared to SMU.. If our team can ever figure out 3rd down it would great.. Penalties cost us.. My question is, how easy is it to get out Biaginis contract and how soon can a new guy come in, and let alone have an impact? Is using guys from 1st team offense/defense messing with these guys so they don't wanna get hurt? They not getting enough time and overloaded on information?

You're aware Fine got destroyed on 3 different plays because of Murray? Outside of Murray it seemed to be a better OL day, yes but still could be improved.. it's a positive to say the least that they blocked a lot better today in terms of fine having more time (at times) compared to SMu

Yea UNT couldn't hold the ball but the defense couldn't get off the field.. committing stupid penalties only gave Iowa more free yardage and allowed for them to be ahead of the chains.. Allowing multiple 10+ play drives is pathetic in a single quarter.. You can blame the offense for not holding the ball. I can blame the defense for not getting the ball.. it's a damn chicken or egg, which came first.. so whatever helps you sleep at night

Shouldn't be very disappointing... Preston, and ST cost use big big time

They had the ball less than 10 minutes... when the defense is giving up 10+ play/15+ drives.. Yes they were bad on offense but it being so limited to how many plays?

Agreed, the penalties are costly and SL needs to make sit players.. Preston should I'm sorry but hurt us ALOT Agreed, the major difference was in the mid-late 3rd Quarter

I saw him on the 3rd down that Iowa converted.

He's lucky the last penalty was near the goaline.. he has 2 unsportsmanlike penalties..

That would be true, but this #4 or 5 on Preston.. out of 11 total penalties

Get Preston out of the game and send him to the locker room

Terrible punts, Blocked FG, and stupid fair catch on special teams, and defensive penalties

This new RB for Iowa, Young, could be the worst thing for UNT
