What do you expect... they were losing for the first 40 minutes of the game.. at least Wheeler didn't blow out there QBs knee and get death threats like he did vs UF last year

This was like the UF game last year... But the defense wasn't like last year, they bended a lot more today than last year

Honest question.. I thought if an offense fumbles and it goes out of the end zone, they get the ball at the 20? Not that it was a turnover

I agree disappointing is the wrong word but it's a game that we Were in it a lot longer than we should have... Penalties, Punting and 3rd down.. if we even convert 3 or 4 3rd downs on offense and stop them 2 or 3 times more (which we had if it wasn't for Penalties) it's a different game..

Gotta agree.. the DL is doing what we expected of the DB in terms of being the strongest unit of the defense.. I'm hoping that English can take us to another level in terms of getting guys to play up a level.. English will be the heart/soul of this defense once he is back, which they need someone to step up.. we need someone who can make a key play at a key time .

When GH gets on a roll he can call plays, but when he isn't in a rhythm it's off.. to answer @Harry honestly it's like GH is trying to find the perfect play that can gain 2 yardswhen we need 1 yard instead of just going with another play if that makes sense. Last year in the bowl game they would bring in an extra OL and run it with Wilson.. I just wish we could do some ground and pound power I when needed.. Also, did the FB Maiki (I know I likely misspelled it) play at all in SMU or today?

It's been brought up that Perry had been here for years (I believe 5 years) and it maybe he didn't wanna get locked into a spot without moving up after being there for years along with being at a program that has/had a history of losing? No idea, but the RBs preformed well last year and years before (another reason TP likely stayed on when SL got here + recruiting) and the ST worked last year,. I don't think SL had a problem with TP to remove him, but that TP just didn't wanna be someone who stays stagnant at 1 school in 1 role

I have the same questions.. Darden of all people covered by an LB running over the middle into another LB isn't smart

Agreed the OL was better than we had likely expected but Fine still got lit up.. Let's hope Murray can handle CUSA edge rushers, because he got owned by SMU and Iowa (at times) I don't know how many times Barr was called, but it was pointed out one holding he was called for he wasn't blocking anyone, which I hope has a reason and not him missing his block or somethinf

I believe when he got hurt it was our guy. One KR earlier in the game the kickoff had him field at the 1 or right at the goaline without him being able to take a knee, he ran it out and was stop around the 15 as well

I'm guessing you mean the 1st half one of SL and Bianga and it looked like they were talking to Andy... Im guessing someone wasn't out like they should be? Agreed, Punting was costly.. KR blocking terrible.. Darden couldn't even get go from the 1 to the 15 before getting hit..
