LOL, well done... Even though I talk more with you than my dad @BeyondTheGreen (Where are you dad?) Hey dad, can we get some Bryce English action up on BTG.. I'm just going to guess that he is one of the top liked guys on the team with Hambone, Wilson, and McClain Way better seeing the guys going around and being themselves.. Allows us to connect and see what they do.. We know what a gameplan looks like, and the same coaching stuff SL does.. Also, why give away the in game adjustment stuff talk? Do we need to see how they prepare?

Are you bringing all these guys? or they coming with their families as well? Are all of them Unofficial visits? I'm asuming the Jr and below have to be?

Because he couldn't get an offer after UNT?? It was on Twitter, and the only other thing that coulda been differently was find out about the class sooner, and if we knew then why sign him? Or was he not eligible at the time we hoped he could be? Likely because signed with UNT and by the time his class finished teams had filled the slots on there roster.. We have to remember the JUCO guys we picked up like Haynes, Johnson, Jenkins, Peters, etc they took summer classes and then weren't finished with class till a week before camp and then missed multiple weeks waiting for them to be eligible.. Teams aren't going to sit and wait for a Punter and hope they qualify I'm guessing Vetto, is Vito... I don't think that SL could even comment about him since he isn't on the team.. this is not a big deal honestly, it was only brought to our attention because of a random Tweet by a kid who is back playing another year in JUCO.. he is likely bitter that UNT wasn't going to wait.. Which is smart, sorry but why risk him not showing up at all? I'm sure if he really wanted to be at UNT he could have transferred and then walked on.. ----------------------------------- Side note, he tweeted out saying looking for a Punter and his Hudl highlights on 5-13-17.. so he knew before then that the offer had been pulled (Im assuming).. and I'm going to guess that if we pulled an offer, then the staff knew of him needing a summer class.

He is in London with the Ravens.. Also, for the older fans.. Haynes will be at the game as well getting an award near the start of halftime

If you honestly think that SL pulled the offer after the kid signed for no real reason, that's dumb.. If the kid was needing another class then he was borderline and he shoulda been on top of his stuff, if he had been a D1 prospect before..

We have no idea if it was truly on SL.. Also, if it was, why risk a kid who we have to wait till last minute for him to qualify? They did that with the AZ Western/LA Valley guys.. Johnson, Hoston never made it.. Turner was gone before his 1st game, Jenkins and Dee couldn't practice till week 2 or 3 of camp.. Yes it would be great if he was here (possibly) but we don't have the whole story, we just have his side in 1 sentence.. SL isn't going to pull an offer after a kid has signed..

Lets just hope that we have a solid performance on the field. If we can even do 75% of what we did vs Lamar to UAB it would help us alot in terms of how we are viewed and leaving a solid impression...

It won't change a thing.. kids still won't buy pay for a parking permit and the streets will still be way to packed for normal traffic.. but I hope it will fix those pains!

Would love to see this kid as our PR/KR.. kid seems to be looking for contact at times, and others he breaking people's ankles.. Would be a nice addition at slot, seems bigger than Darden.

When did I ever say that UNT did not have any bells and whistles??? UNT has many, but we need to expand and grow how many bells and whistles that we have.. What we have now isn't working.. Yes winning is important.. UTSA beat a Baylor team that is 0-3, which may not win a game all year.. Yes its sexy to beat a Big-12 team in Baylor but they are bad, really bad.. UNT challenged a Top 25 team (got multiple votes before the UNT game) and UNT either led or was tied for the first 40 minutes of the game.. The L we took was impressive but its not sexy, while the UTSA W is sexy, but its not impressive if they go 0-12.. It doesn't matter to a kid like Bell (and im sure others) that we had an impressive game compared to a W vs a crappy Big 12 school.. Yes, its great having a bunch of land dedicated to Sports like at UNT.. But if you have crap facilities it doesn't matter.. If you don't do anything with it (the space), it doesn't matter.. Give the guys the tools needed to compete... Yes a dorm next to Apogee is nice, but plenty of guys live off campus, a weight room just for football and an IPF are common things in HS now but we are a D1 program that doesn't have either (we just need them to get back on Par)... Apogee yes is nice but the players don't sit in the stands at a stadium, they are on the field and the last time i checked LAT, UTSA, UNT fields are all the same.. UTSA and LAT are winning games yes, but UNT won games during the bowl run (so we should still be winning because of that history)... Winning is nice but you have to invest and continue to support the programs.. UTSA is new enough they can get away with we are still adding/growing on top of upgrading.. LAT just dropped a ton of $ on the new weight room/ locker-room etc.. UNT will do that once they announce and start the IPF and Ath. Center expansion.. WB has talked about how the facilities outside of Apogee were in bad shape..

Now you change it from UTSA to LAT, okay ill list off why they are beating us in recruits as well.. LAT has again, added a new locker room, weightroom center and more to the stadium for bells and whistles... On top of them winning... They have also multiple kids drafted.. Bulter 2 years ago went in the first round to Carolina, Henderson Rd3 to Denver and more in the most recent draft...
