SL has said in last weeks press conference that English was still on track to return from what they had originally planned which had been to return around the bye week with UAB likely being the very best (slightly rushed) goal.. the real question is how does he react in practice.. I would think UTSA possibly, FAU likely.. ODU worst case scenario

I think it’s more outlandish for us to think about 8 wins, in the pre-season and current season.. yes it’s attainable and I hope I’m proven wrong but still likely we end up with 6-7 wins.. We have been critical of SL and his recruiting.. that is his major drawback and likely something other schools would like to see improved

Defending a point or having someone justify their own should be done more often, and I welcome that.. I’m a big enough man to admit when I’m wrong and have done it multiple times here..

What I was saying in camp was he didn’t look like he was accurate.. he has improved his accuracy along with the OL giving him enough to not be running for his life nonstop.. I also said that if it was a lost season we need to evaluate everyone on the roster. Pre-Season Fine was still battling with Quinn also, no idea how that has to do with his offerlist or him being a “system” QB..

LAT has to play UAB then a bye followed by USM and Rice then UNT... it will be interesting to see UAB play them at UAB, and USM playing at LAT.. lets hope UAB can help us out!

With him being a grad transfer, was he not eligible to play here? Or did we add other guys to fill his role? He was talented would have loved to seen him play more for us
