Thats a long way down the road, but with that being said... If we did get a championship game... We have to fill the stadium.. Bring back every team that has won a championship and do a champions weekend, with parents coming back as well.. do a 2nd parents weekend right after thanksgiving and before finals..

Was anything worked out for if the game doesn’t happen? I know the plan was to play it at worst when the conferences do championships.. but if 1 or both in a championship game they can’t play.. didn’t know if UTSA got paid if that happens?

I have no idea but isn't Navy tied in with the American Conference, and Air Force with the Mountain West? With Army being an Indy, I'm assuming they get 1st dibs on the Armed Forces Bowl, then followed by Navy/Air Force in whatever order because of conference agreements

Agreed, use this time to engage and talk with the fans even if it not SL, have someone like WB out there talking/answering questions from the fans.. Keep UNT energy high after the USM W, and back to back wins!

That would be an interesting match up and I would love to see UNT vs TT now that Mahomes is gone... Wonder who would bring more fans, TT or Nebraska vs UNT and if UNT could match it? Would be like that TT/ASU game 2 years ago that they had like 140+ points, and something like nearly 2k in total yards combined at the end of the game.. That would get alot of kids interest in terms of scoring/yardage as well, and some national media attention as well.. It would suck to lose, but having an offensive shootout would make it worth it at the very least.

GH does call them from upstairs this year, compared to last year on the SL.. No idea about Mainford, sorry..

It talks about FW possibly going and coaching at a place like Auburn or Ole Miss in the near future, and I had no idea if he been in a spread offense before (don't recall any at LSU).. Yellock was with the New Orleans Saints, I believe last year? Langston was out but he has still improved the OL greatly compared to last year.. Again, no idea if Langston is just better than Davis or Davis coached them up and Langston has seen the rewards of it.. Good question, because I don't know.. but I would assume it was Filia or Mainford I'm also wondering, how did we get English? Did KP talk to him or did English just decide to come to UNT no matter who the coach was?

Has FAU improved since the start of the year? or am i just completely over-looking them? I would have thought they would be much lower, but I'll admit.. I have not even looked at 1 stat for them

If SL leaves after this year, WB should be getting alot of sorrys from people on here that were critical of WB redoing SLs contract.. If SL left after this year, UNT makes $5 million.. that is a nice healthy boost in terms of budget to go out and hire someone else, and improve the assistant coach budgets

Gotta agree, and while GH hasn't been the greatest recruiter as people have thought... The biggest worry among people is the development of Fine, if GH left would it hurt him? I'm not sure because the DL looks better than last year, the OL looks better, LBs seems to be more productive as well.. ST the jury is still out after 2 good weeks, and a few meh/bad weeks.. Honestly he has helped bring in Fine.. He got Pearson, and Martin said he wanted to go to tech but came here because of GH.. and GH likely helped with Bean.. QB recruits shouldnt be judged on what they can be, it should be what they are/were.. GH recruiting impact will be felt at the end of this year and years after, heck we are seeing the impact through 5 games with Fine leading CUSA

Got to agree, way to soon for GH to be an HC... His struggles last year as an OC and the progress he has made this year are nice but again, still to many times we have a rough Qtr, Half or game... Also, how often do G5 OC/DC go to another G5 HC? I would figure that UTEP want a "flashier" hire.. Sonny Dykes of TCU maybe? Agreed, and the guys leaving makes it an appealing stop for others to come here.. My worry is, who is the next 1 or 2 that get picked off? Reff is having a tough time, Browns CBs are getting burned.. Langston? Yellock? Both of them turned groups that had questions into the strength of the team and the OL has given Fine more time than last year My biggest worry with coaches coming and going, is that the "connection" made between said coach and that HS staff has to be completely rebuilt.. @GMG24 talked that it wasn't a huge problem, because everyone understands its a promotion.. but to me, just the message changing and changing of faces has to make recruits wonder, will this guy be around in a year or 2?

I've looked through the pages and you haven't said how people on here know nothing about UTSA? Also, the article you posted about getting fans to the game.. Has Wilson coached in a spread offense? I'm just asking because if he did go to Ole Miss or Auburn he would be completely redoing the entire offensive scheme.
