Wasn't Wilson around 205 to start the year? I thought/believe that SL said at the coaches show that Wilson had lost weight, but was/had regained it during the bye week?
-
With the game a little over 48 hours from now, I feel like some things need to be said and brought up.. We have had a good past 3 weeks, from the UAB game-winning field goal to beating USM at USM and to now the feel and excitement of a critical game that should have a large crowd (we hope)... We need to remember, a month ago after the SMU game and leading up to Iowa, we thought this was another lost season.. Iowa we played and lead for nearly 3 Qtrs... UAB we got up and then UAB fought back, with Special Teams coming up huge for us (Thanks Trevor and Evan).. USM we played a terrible 1st Qtr. with people writing this team off with us coming back (Props to anyone who admitted they went over board to soon) and winning by 2 scores at USM...This past week has been good for us with us seeing the hype build up on campus, and off campus as well. We have seen posts about GH being a rumored HC candidate at UTEP, and talk of if some really special things happen that SL could possibly be gone.. But this is the Debbie Downer part.. A lot of us on here picked this game as L before the season even started. We have been riding high, but it maybe time to take it down a notch to where we were during the USM game week. Yes we have beaten 2 good/very good CUSA West schools that challenged us.. We have 2 good/very good CUSA West schools left in UTSA and LAT.. We need to get back to the mindset that we had before the bye week. UTSA is going to come in here and play hard so they don't go down 0-2 in conference, nor will UTSA come in here and just roll over because of a big crowd, or because of us being 2-0... This next month will be very telling for this team..UTSA and LAT are the major C-USA West challengers left for us, with them both having lost last week. FAU is up top of C-USA East with our match as possibly being a critical game in determining who gets home field in the championship game.. ODU is a game that should not be overlooked either, even if this is a down year for them.

Bradshaw is a good comparison because of size, coming from a non-traditional Football school.. Bradshaw also seemed to be a winner, but that maybe because he was just on winning teams but Wilson seems to be a winner by giving 100% every play he can.. Also, the injury bug was something that Bradshaw had as well..

Cowboys are off this weekend.... #JustSaying

i know of 2 more tickets that will be bought for sure, and possibly as many as 8 more on top of that from my group if everyone comes.

If you (or other band members) can't handle criticism then you have a lot more bigger problems that need to be fixed before going out into the real world.. If someone gets mad or offend by someone saying they are "butthurt", "needing to pull up their pampers", "covering up that messed up hair", or "a bunch of crybabies" then do something about it.. I don't think that GMG.com is a PC friendly place... Some of the band has apparently been losing sleep or have taken issues with this OPINION article enough to send out multi-tweet threads about the OPINION article..

GoMeanGreen.com Barbershop Podcast #186 pre-UTSA
BTG_Fan1 replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
That would be correct because of they would be tied in terms of winning % in conference with UTSA having the head to head tie breaker ------------------------------------------------------------ UNT is going to have a few tough match ups in 3 of the 4 next weeks.. UTSA and LAT are championship game contenders, with UNT, USM, and UAB. We may not think that UAB is a West contender, but look at there schedule, they play UTEP, Rice, and Charlotte this year.. FAU is leading the East, and IF UNT beats UTSA, it will be a game that will give the winner the upper-hand on home field advantage... UNT already beat UAB and USM, LAT lost to UAB and UTSA lost to USM.. USM plays LAT next week when we play FAU.. Beating UTSA would be huge, because it would set them back at 0-2 in conference and with them still having to play UAB and LAT.. LAT still has to play UTSA and USM, and UTSA still has to play UAB and LAT.. I do not think this team will overlook any game till possibly Homecoming when we play UTEP followed by Army the next week.. -
The problem was at the first game that people were trying multiple different emails.. this now tells you exactly how to do it including which email to use. it’s not problems on the AD office end, it’s on the student end.. literally it takes 3-4 minutes at the very longest to do this..
-
They already do make it easy... Literally they have sent out emails with STEP BY STEP directions... The only easier way would be having someone doing it for you.. Its not an app.. Its going website submitting your name, email, and phone number.. you select you want the ticket to the game by clicking on the game, and then on game day a few hours before the game, it sends you a text for your to accept (and you reply back yes to acept), with the ticket loading on this website for you to use... Also, it shouldn't be the reason for the drop, because they still hand out free tickets to any student that doesn't get it to work.. If a student doesn't show up because of this, then they are not trying at all... --------------------------------------------------- They do this scanning because anyone can get a ticket.. But having that individual ticket scanned for that individual person/account allows them to track/know who cames to the games... Also, it saves on the cost of printing/supplying the ticket

Wren tweeted something would be coming out today..

If you’re still having issues, try going into the ticket office. I know it sucks making the trip, but I’ve had multiple friends do it and it’s simple and easy they have said.. Try DMing @meangreen_2015 about it as well since he works in the ticket office. Hopefully he can bring it up and it will not fall on deaf ears.. this is the first year of no physical tickets and there will always be problems to be worked out at the start (remember this is 3rd time it’s been done) and yes it shoulda been done sooner but nothing can be done now. Also, they will not turn away someone (especially a student) if they are wanting to come into the game. If a gate is telling you to buy an online ticket just trade lines or don’t say your a student is what I would do or even go to and other gate like gate 3 I’m seeing the same..
-
Not to be a Debbie downer, but The tickets auto-register if a student has gotten/used a ticket before.. Yes it encouraging, after the blunder for the student tickets at the Lamar game, but hopefully that # goes up before the game and those students actually show up Talk with @AustinFromUNT, I believe he is aware of how to fix it.. Also, the tickets are meant to be claimed before game day.. then 2-3 hours before kick off they activate giving you a code that should be scanned.. The issues should be worked out by now because of the different ways students/UNT sent in the student information. Also, I would assume if needing to buy a ticket for a friend, it’s better to just get a paper ticket in person than through the app since it’s a human over trying to figure out how the computer system wants it.. Also, @meangreen_2015 maybe able to help.

Can he get multiple years of extensions? He already has the Hardship-waiver he has to apply for and then possibly this.. if he is healthy, he will play is my bet..

$5,000 Giveaway to Students Orgs UTSA GAME
BTG_Fan1 replied to Sig381's topic in Mean Green Football
It’s easy to sign up.. it auto-registers you if you have gotten a ticket before.. the question is does it go up during the week? Do they show up? -
If you have not been to UNT in years, you need to swing by the Union/Bookstore.. You will be impressed. But I would check out both, because they have stuff at both that the other doesn't have (hopefully that makes sense)
-
I would like to think that the offense and defense have some new things that they will be pulling out, that they have not showed at all this year.. I got downvoted but I will say it again, Quinn I trust more to hold up running it consistently than Fine in terms of health. Quinn showed he can pass at Iowa.. Do some read option with Quinn having the ability to throw it as well.. Also, UNT needs to be aware of when UTSA is subbing.. UNT has to many times allowed teams to sub and stood around and just let them have guys walk off the field (when we haven't subbed).. Hike it and get a free play or a free 5-yards.. Also, it makes there guys have to run on/off the field as well

Then they won’t likely be entered to win with the drawings at the end of the 3rd.. More beer money if they stay a bit longer -

English was at the doctors this past week with the training staff, can confirm that. If he plays, I would assume it’s in a very limited role with him not practicing yet. The big man is coming, and it will be exciting the boost he gives this entire defense. If he can do what he did in the spring game, look out.
-
I will say this here, but UTSA has problems with Howard when he ran... We need to be protective of Fine and limit his hits.. Quinn can come in and run, but he has shown he can pass as well. Really would like to see Quinn used early on a few QB runs, and later hit them if needed with a Quinn PA pass deep to Guyton.

@BeyondTheGreen does it help more one way or the other if we rewatch it via YouTube or via the UNT athletics page? Also, I’m assuming views count as well watching it via Fox Sports Go?
