From what I have heard, they already have things in the works and should be a nice little thing planned for the pre-game if it all goes according to plan (from what I heard earlier in the season).

The thing is while the offense has improved greatly, the defense has regressed big time.. The best players have underperformed or been replaced on defense.. This defense needs to continue what it did vs ODU

They had a large # of fans at the HoD bowl game, a large # of Vets in the region, and 2 US Army bases in Ft. Sill and Ft. Hood. They also have 3 alumni groups that have confirmed they will be at the game as well.

We were FAU homecoming game.. so let’s hope they are ready

Yep he was with a bag of ice, and on crutches late in the game.. he hasn’t tweeted about an injury, but he has tweeted about how great the MG family has been to him

If you watch the highlights of the UTSA game, he took a hit/dished out a pretty nice hit on the UTSA sideline in 4th I believe and he seemed to favor his left shoulder and came to th sideline (I believe it’s in the UTSA BTG).. FAU he hurt his elbow (I wanna say it’s a bruise) and he played either yesterday or at FAU with a pad on the elbow as well.. I want to say Matthew Brune at NT Daily even reported the injury in his post-game article.

He left later in the offseason when positions had been filled, so of course it will be harder to find jobs

Who cares what the payout is? We can not and should not be worried about a bowl game.. we need to worry about LAT and hope we don’t have a FAU game.. Get the W then we can start worrying /speculating where we would like to go, but we need to keep winning. We all want UNT to be viewed as a winner, and need 2 more wins in 4 games to have a winning regular season and 3 more wins if we wanna finish at worst .500 after a possible CUSA championship bid and bowl game.. the current staff has talked about how it’s difficult to recruit because of the losing history, and back to back bowl games will do a world of good. When we are winning conference championships like we did back in the NO Bowl run, then we can worry about bowl placement. UNT is a known draw for bowl games (locally) and having 3 in DFW will likely increase the odds we stay and play here.

Please don’t give most UNT students ideas... they already have to bring on therapy dogs for Finals week.. I have wondered this, but why the hell are commercial breaks so damn long for a game that is only broadcast on CUSA.TV?!?!?

But they are in Year 1 and Year 2 and we gotta give them time! Also, the offense is #16 in the nation!

Does it really matter if CUSA is getting a bigger payout/return from the bowl in terms of flight reimbursement?

If we did, where and who does Ek replace? Koontz is at LB, Brown has been one of the better recruiters, Yellock has done a solid job.. That leaves Reff and Safetys... Thoughts on if GH left and Fedora gets canned.. Fedora come here and call plays? Kensworthy, Durham the LS who blew out his knee @ Iowa.. The Freshman Kicker Zach Williams and maybe the back up LS that is an upperclassman named Jake Davis.

I agree thought Reff should have been replaced after the FAU, but i get the point that you don't have someone to replace him (even if I dont like that excuse).. He needs to step it up vs the likes of Rice, UTEP, Army and even LAT (they need to have USM like performance vs LAT)...

We have alot bigger things to be worried about than anything Wilson does, and so does the staff...

For you to try and grow the conferences brand?

Agree last year we faced our toughest part of the schedule at the end.. This year, it was from SMU to FAU.. We just need to hope they can maintain this level of play vs the weaker teams.. This is when UNT could and should put distance on other programs and gives them ALOT of positives going into a hopefully bowl game and offseason.

So now people are worried about Jeffery? The fumbles are likely tied to being beating up after the UTSA game, then add in him getting injured vs FAU and it flaring up again yesterday..

It’s plenty easy to get a student ticket.. Numerous signs are up around Apogee and outside gates 3 and 4 with the 4 steps to get the ticket digitally.. It’s a 1 time thing each season and if the student is to lazy, they can drive to Apogee and walk in and the ticket people will do it for the student.. Each game week it texts you for you to reply “yes” to get the ticket..
