UNT needs to be doing watch parties on campus as well in the Fuzzys.. Problem is that they are not well known, and on limited providers..

Again, they would likely send UNT to Armed Forces, or HoD/Independence if they open up for CUSA.. UNT has drawn well in local games and bowls aware of that.. Yes, Frisco would like to have UNT but UNT would want a larger venue because of the revenue it would create.. They would rather have 30k at HoD or Armed Forces compared to 15/16 at Frisco because of the other schools allotment. I have no idea how LAT traveled to the Armed Forces Bowl last year, but them or UTSA would be a good match likely for Frisco because of location and likely Hood those schools could fill Frisco. If bowls like Birmingham/Independence open up, it would likely be UAB to Birmingham, LAT to Independence, and UTSA between Frisco/Armed Forces and New Mexico, with UNT getting Armed Forces/HoD again.

C-USA needs to develop an app and pair with other G5 conferences, similar to MLB.TV or NHL.TV.. Have it on Xbox, PS4, and on Android/IOS.. Hell, maybe even do something with Netflix/Hulu or even Amazon.. We have seen at times how bad CUSA.TV and using platforms like these would greatly increase viewship

I just want a bowl win, yes it would be nice to beat a P5... But give me the W, and it’s just another stepping stone for us.

Most of these bowls, the cities want them because of the $ they bring in.. Some could go to the wayside, but others will not.. UNT is in a good position because of the # of local bowls from SA, Shreveport, ABQ, to the local games in DFW and the alumni base as well.

CUSA will not send UNT to Frisco because of the # of fans UNT would have shutout..

We have given up more points than we have scored this year... I would be pissed too because that game should not have been that close.. Yes the 2 KR greatly change the score and it’s not entirely on the defense why SL would/should be mad.

The point about UTSA comparison is people say we need to give Reff time.. But yet UTSA has had the same amount of time and had results, similar to our offense.. yes they have played a weak schedule but you can only play who is on your schedule... SMU dominated and let up, FAU let up as well.. UAB moves the ball the 2nd half, Iowa woke up in the 2nd, ODU had 386 yard (pretty close to the 400) and they had 2 less offensivel drives with the KR TDs.. This defense is experienced and we don’t have many new faces to the group.. Hamilton and Khari are the youngest and have more experience than most.. what is worrisome is the lack of young guys playing on defense now with some guys graduating soon

UAB I would assume gets the Birmingham bowl.. Good for them to play a home bowl game and could be a HUGE crowd for them. Also, looks like Army already accepted the Armed Forces Bowl and they have had multiple officials at Apogee for the UTSA/ODU game..

We all would rather have him for 2/3 more years than him play a few games and this come back even worse... English wants to get out there, SL wants him out there, Reff wants him out there and so does Yellock... English will play when ready and its a weekly question from Vito to SL (normally one of the first ?s)

But we have to give this defense team in the system, will be the reason/excuse people give for the defense.. I mean the UTSA staff got hired at the same time LOL

No problem, also I believe there is a VB game at 1pm, the same day of HC UTEP game.. If people are looking for something to do/warm up while Tailgating it would be a Great chance to come see them!

It will be found out tomorrow at the Presser, and if not then we will likely find out something during the week if they are practicing or not

How many of their recruits have made it to campus? We had a # not make it SL first year, but everyone made it this year..

If he can play (and won’t risk farther injury), he will be in I would assume.. they do the rotation and playing he would only improve the depth even if he played 3/4 plays on every couple of drives to start off

UNT has one thing going for it, is its known to draw a descent crowd when its a local game.. Armed Forces and HoD are aware of this and so is Frisco. CUSA would likely pass on UNT to Frisco because UNT Wouldn’t have the room.. Someone like UTSA or would be a good Frisco team because of distance.. I would personally love to see UNT play in the Armed Forces because it’s a chance for UNT to play in Ft. worth and I think we maybe surprised on how many people show up. The downside is playing another Army/Navy etc team.. HoD would likely be a better match up but it’s a game and venue we have played in before.

This years Marshall team is not that team.. and our defense is not that defense.. but it would still be a solid game I think if we can make it.. Agreed, let’s focus on LAT and hopefully we can go 4-0 vs West and UTSA, LAT, UAB and USM

Injury that happened vs FAU flared up vs ODU, also he finished a run vs UTSA and wasn’t moving his left shoulder( it was when UNT was going to the wing) so it maybe a couple of injuries

The ticket issue has been fixed.. The first week yes had issuse, but they still gave out free tickets to everyone and anyone who had a student ID.. Again, the ticket office is more than willing to help students do it if they are so lazy they don’t follow the 4 steps of how to do it.. The AD office has multiple signs up around Gate 3/4 on the hill, by the gates and the circle.. again, the student ticket thing isn’t difficult because it texts you every game week to claim your ticket after you submit your information the first time.. If a student isn’t coming because of “ticket issuses” they are not trying because I have counted over 10+ signs on the Hill, by the games and on the bridge as well.. on top of the instructions being sent to the students email as well multiple times and likely will stay that way..

I’m sure he could be worked in, even if not in “playing shape” as a guy who would come in for a series here or there... —————— I would match rather face Marshall... FAU beat us bad and while I would love to even the score, Marshall is a team that has gotten Top 25 votes (and while FAU may get some if they beat up on Marshall).. I feel like Marshall would be a better opponent for the UNT resume, also we avoid the whole we have played that team twice argument that we had about UNT/Army last year. Im holding out hope that if we can make it to the championship game, we get to hold it here in Denton.
