We can keep saying a # of young kids play.. but they are mostly at the offensive skill spots.. On defense we have Khari and Hamilton playing major roles as young guys, but the other spots are held by older guys just like the OL.. It would be understandable if they were working in a # of younger guys on the DL/LB/DBs but tthey aren't..

Doesn't hurt that they lost their best DE, and were down to 3rd team LBs... and they still only lost by 1...

Agreed, yes its a Win.. but I would like to win some of these guys by double digits, and we should be winning most of these games by double digits... We have 80 guys on scholarship now.. Its not just depth, its the at times lack of focus... I could understand youth, but this defense does not have much youth playing right now.. Yes the offense does have some youth (just look at the skill position core) but they have been the best of the best.. Its very encouraging, the young guys but it has been very disappointing at times as well. I've said it before and will say it again.. Yes we went through the buzz-saw of CUSA from UAB till LAT (with 1 easy team in ODU).. We need to go out and dominate UTEP/Rice and hope this offense can hit its stride and throw it all over Army.. This is when this team needs put up some great #s and show recruits we are over #OldDenton

Yes we had 20 good plays on offense... But the offense has been bad... and hopefully UTEP gets them out of this funk...

4-0 vs UAB, UTSA, USM, LT... 3 of those games 3 points or less.. I will take it, but needs to be IMPROVED... Also, Wheeler was behing SL during the interview with a brace on his left knee but walking and in uniform

Defense played good at times, and then trash at other times.. Yes this is a improvement and great outcome... Offense looked BAD

So our RB who has been playing great has 50% of the carries.. Yea thats being used sparingly..

How many carries does Fine and Nic Smith have? going to guess that wilson maybe has 50% of the rushes

We should be beating them down... They have 24 guys on the injury report, 70 guys have missed atleast 1 game... A QB who is a better CF than QB and we are up 1... Expect more... Also, remember the big thing was this is the #16 offense.. and we have 24 points vs a bunch of backups and our #1 WR is being covered 1 on 1 by a True-FR... Wilson is having a great game, and we do QB runs?

Running behind the biggest guy on the field and can't get 2 or 3 yards? They have 2nd and 3rd team guys in at LB, and we should be dominating them running the bowl...

We playing a team has a ton of injuries, playing a QB who is a better runner than passer, and has thrown up multiple ducks that our DBs look completely lost on... Defense not tackling and terrible job by the coaches We should be beating LT and we are down by 6...

When the defense is still having the same problems that it has had since SMU its pathetic... Sitting on TO's are dumb as hell... Going away from Wilson when he is your best thing going to do a QB run is stupid as well.. Also, Guyton is 1 on 1 vs a True FR and we only throw it deep once>>>>

If you had told me this is how we would play LT before the season I would be happy, but this is a subpar game so far from what we have seen... Wilson is playing determined and looks bigger
