The difference is that nailbitters are good when the teams are ranked far ahead of you.. FAU has beaten solid teams by double digits often this year.. That is how you make a statement to the reporters because most of them do not look in depth at CUSA.. They look at last years records and the spreads... I agree that they have heart compared to 2 years ago.. But if we want to go from the 100s to the 50s like FAU, we need to win big like FAU has been winning big.
-
Only if they have Morris at QB, then we have a chance
-
Wilson needs to have some monster games... They normally take 8 RBs (I believe) and 31 are listed... Moore.. no idea what else he needs to do, but just keep doing what he is doing... 2 of 6 are picked.. McClain needs to have another game like he did at Army last year and needs to continue that as well.

WB/SL and them will get us into the best bowl they can... and stop worrying about UTSA, they aren't bowl eligabile (yet) and they very likely would not get the HoD with us in FTW to face Army again... They drew well to the New Mexico bowl as well. I personally think we should keep playing in DFW because we have not locked down the DFW recruiting market in terms of the kids we should be getting and its another game for the AD office to make $ on top of hopefully get the eye of alumni. I get the whole people don't want to play army again, and personally I wouldn't like it but I would rather play them if it means playing in FTW or Dallas over going to New Mexico or NO because we don't have many (if any) alumni there and we don't recruit much from those spots. Some people and I'm one of them, I would rather play in Ftw than play in the Cotton Bowl game

No idea if im just seeing things, or hoping.. But if you look where they have the new video board marked, its a light yellow.. and they do it in the 4 corners of Apogee... -------------------------------------- Question for everyone... I'm assuming this is being sent to BOR for them to approve the new plan.. Really hope/wish that the AD office does a presentation to fans once its approved... Really think they could potentially pick up somemore donations potentially and give fans another sense of improvement.
-
They also beat a P5 team, 2 AAC schools, 2 MAC schools, and a MW team.. All conferences rated on par or above CUSA, on top of them beating 2 CUSA programs...

It has been said that they would "ideally" like to connect it and that is likely the long-term goal (no idea why its not posted) but they didn't have the current funding to connect it as of now.. Meaning it would be connected in the future Hopefully I can explain this thought clear enough.. But I would think the Hill-Tailgating still stays with the Frats and likely the people who currently tailgate/park at fouts taking over the present day Red/blue lots... the current Red/Blue tailgaters, I would assume move to the new tailgating area... I'm also going to assume one of the biggest issues is fans going from Red/Blue lots to gates 1 and 2. Didn't even notice that, thanks... Also, props to the people that said they were looking at replacing the Superpit this time last year.

So next week....8-2 Army on the way

Because its important... It shows how dominating a team is... People on here complain that we are like #100 in some polls and then you see FAU at 50 whatever... FAU has won games not by single digits... MTSU by 18, ODU by 30, UNT by 38, WKU by 14, Marshall by 5, and LAT by 25... UNT has not had dominating games.. It is impressive (and stop saying its impressive, no one has said it has not been), but the numbers are not stacking up to be 7-3... Before UTEP, we had allowed more points than points scored (we were at -3).... Yes that number is largely impacted by 2 games (SMU and FAU). Yes UNT has shown great ability to battle back at get a W.. I would bet, if you looked at SL tender here he has allowed more points than they have scored and he is 1 game above .500... We think that UNT is ready for a P5 but if I'm CUSA, I'm not putting them out there vs a P5.. FAU has earned that, and overtaken WKU/LT as the best team in CUSA... -
ahh okay since it never happened to you, it never happened to anyone lol.. You have totally missed the point of having classless students in the stands... They can rag on people but some shit crosses the line and guys on the Army Sideline should not be exposed to that.. I mean dear lord, on the podcast ashton talked about a cop telling someone to shut up or get out.. This thread has been derailed because of some fans of UNT would not, and do not want the other teams players exposed to senseless/down right terrible things being said.. Yes they are on the sideline, but saying "hope you don't drown on the way home" to a Lamar player just crosses a line... Again it doesn't affect likely most people, but still someone saying stuff like that is down right terrible and makes everyone attracted to UNT look bad since nothing was done about it most likely

that is the best take away from the post? LOL you skip over everything else..

UNT has 1 impressive win vs USM... all the others are been to close to be classified as "impressive" -
LOL no way.... We would have to beat Army the way FAU beat us down, and hold them under 14 points if we want any hope at a UNT Top 25 vote... SMU pounded us and so did FAU, and we have won a bunch of 1 score non-ranked/low ranked schools... USM is our best W so far this year in terms of respectable team and winning by multiple scores...
-
LOL the shit some people said to me when I was uniform, i wouldn't wish that upon anyone... Driving home on leave, had people call me a baby-killer, and spit at me... Students saying "hope you don't drown on your way home" to lamar players, really good stuff since they are on a football sideline!
-
Has been offered by Illinois and Tulsa since he decommitted.
-
Lmao the point is that bs should not be said..I’m the least PC/SJW but some stuff shouldn’t be said no matter the place..
-
If it’s UNT in the Armed Forces, Houston/Kstate won’t be playing.. people would go because it’s UNT in a bowl, the last chance to see them play this year, hell a chance at 10 or 11 wins potentially.. the season people who never made it to a game last year then showed up for the bowl game.. UNT will have options for the bowl game.. WB/SL will pick the best one for them and the Program.. who cares if it’s vs Army, if anyone don’t like it don’t go.. I’m pretty sure someone who hasn’t made the trip to denton will be taking their spot.
-
Plenty of fans will come if it’s a rematch.. look at how many come out of the woodwork for the HoD last year.. and I’m sure almost all of us will go to the bowl no matter what, even if it’s Army again..
-
Around 10k claimed a ticket for the game about 5-6 hours before the game even started..
-
Again, it could work by then they will have lines and if students are crying about 45 seconds for an online ticket, they sure as hell aren’t gone to accept waiting in lines for someone to find an ID, scan it etc, on top of purses/bags getting checked.. hilarious that people think it’s hard to get a digital ticket..
-
Good to know you accept shit like being said..
-
Hope not hearing things like students saying “hope you don’t drown on the way home” to Lamar players is disappointing and shows a lack of class.. I’ve had a few people say messed up stuff to me when I was uniform and it’s uncalled for crossed the line.
-
Sorry, people complaining saying it’s to hard to get a digital ticket with people willing to do it for you is stupid.. it’s also stupid to think it turns away fans, when they will just give students tickets as well. Welcome to 2017, carry on if you can’t deal with technology..
-
Last year it was having 2 people in a trailer swiping ID cards, printing tickets.. They would sit there from 10-2/3/4pm some days.. got to think, say the students are making 7 bucks an hour x2 then there for 5 hours 3 or 4 days a week it adds up when you can simple have students enter their own information and have it sent as a text to claim your ticket.
-
Cheaper, less man power needed sitting around for multiple days to give out tickets, quicker and hipper.. also, allows for students to upgrade/but additional tickets. sports teams, colleges, music festivals, etc are all doing this because everyone has a phone and is less likely to lose their phone over tickets.
