Was not talking about the NO Bowl, nor did I say anything about it in my posts. It was about the Cure Bowl, which SL had his hopes on getting from my pre-game discussions with people around the program and athletic offices..

Like who??? The only other ones I could think off would be someone like Murray or Woody on the OL... or Khari/Young on defense

It's odd because we had discussions about the last time we had a 3k/1k/1k trio and how close it was happening, and then Guyton finishes over 200 yards away from it..

Agreed, and some of think we should have left the DC in FL after how that game went.. Hoping LK and SL stick around and start the trend of staying at G5 schools instead of going to bigger places and dealing with the stress, etc of bigger P5 schools..

Would think the rotating of WRs so often hurt them and Fine spreading the ball around as much as he did. Also, Guyton only had 47 catches good for #2 on the team, with Lawerence being #1 with 50.. I've said it before and will continue to say it.. Do the UNT Survey (meangreensurvey.com) and email directly WB, JM, and whoever else is in charge of the team store... Have your friends and family members as well fill out the survey and email the correct people, with images of what people want to buy.. If anything it will lead to us finding out why exactly they are missing out on products (when someone like WB/JM hopefully reply back)... Heck include NS and other high-up Admin on the email stating that the school and athletics are missing out on a LARGE AMOUNT of $ and branding opportunities and include the numerous threads on this site (which by the way we should find a hashtag to use to sort/locate these threads for us to include on emails for items people want)... It does not work if only 1 or 2 people send it, we as a forum group need to be submitting this and emailing them, strength in numbers!

I"m going to guess this will improve with time and him just learning.. This is 1st year of playing, and it has been limited mostly the in game action he has gotten with only a couple of games him getting the vast majority. While I agree, JW may not have the greatest skill set for this offense compared to Smith.. I do still think Wilson does WAY MORE for this offense than smith does right now and will next year potentially. Wilson makes everyone else better because of his Vision, and his blocking.. he makes the OL look good when he can cut it back, or when he can pick up a block (like his diving block vs UTSA) that gives Fine 1 or 2 more seconds on a pass.. Wilson has great vision, a great blocker, a fantastic runner in terms of speed and power, but he is solid pass-catcher as well. I think WSU would love to have a Jeff Wilson in that offense... Wilson has passed the torch in terms of being the main man to Fine now, and we need to remember that we need to re-evaluate what to expect out of Nic Smith for the remaining of this season and next when comparing him to JW

That is likely but it is between the SunBelt and the American conference.. So I think the hope SL would have is playing an AAC team, but I would think a TT match up would do alot more for the school, conference, and for SL as well. I personally do not want to see a UNT UCF/USF game.. Would rather play vs Tech in HoD or Idenpence vs some larger..

I really wish/hope WB can figure out a way to do what Iowa State did with the HC they have.. If someone hires him away, the school that hires him owes the entire amount remaining on his contract... My thing would be give SL one of the top G5 salaries, make his buyout a larger % of the contract (or the entire contract) with his buyout if fired a small %..

Sidenote as well... He has 2 years to play, but 1 would be ate up by transferring (he is not a grad transfer), but he could apply for a medical RS from his 2016 season which he had an injury.. Herman seemed to be giving his RB recruit more playing time as the year went on... The question is how close will they be after this senior class leaves.. They were at 80 scholarships before this season started and before RJ Reyonlds (the late enrollee freshman from Air Force showed up). But I would agree Lawerence should be on scholarship if we have 1 open, he is probably the most deserving of one.

Wouldn't be surprised if schools/conferences have been contacted and they working through plans for some of them now such as the Dec 16 bowl games...

Why flip him? Guys like Dillman and Mean barely touch the field at all.. we have needed a physical/big back and warren is that type of back that could/would be a great pairing with Johnson and Smith, and even Siggers

Would love to add Shorter! No idea, but with Tune out there.. but anyway they bring him in and gave someone else Grey-shirt? Because Tune is a Dec grad, and I’m not sure either of our current QBs are.

No UT, the UT defense is clicking now has been playing well.. Tech looked good on defense because UT is that bad on offense

No upper class runners... warren would be a nice addition but it would likely potentially lead to a clog at the position but he is a physical runner that we need

I’m guessing 1 WR (Dove), 1 JUCO G/T (maybe?) 1 or 2 DL/ LB Mid year JUCO guys, 1 or 2 HS DL/LB, 1 CB, 1 K and a PWO LS
