Would love to see the FL schools and UNT/UTSA (or rice) move up.. the logic we want someone to suck in G5 only hurts all of us.. Honestly if LK stays, I think it only increases SL staying.. the question is can both programs get the $ to make it manageable for them to success..

What is also interesting.. most of the bigger jobs in the region have been settled last year or this year..

Really hoping LK stays at FAU, and starts the trend of P5 coaches staying at G5.. A F_U vs UNT/UTSA rivialary between states can only improve the conference.

Why would he care about the Razorbacks? Isn’t he a Florida fan??? Also, 9 wins are great but single digits is not something to breath confidence into a fan base.. and multiple 20+ defeats should but many here overlook it..

Everyone is happy with the results for the most part.. They are not happy with things like the blow out losses, the such close games.. and settling for bottom feeder bowls.. I’m sorry but the NO maybe great but to me it’s like the Armed Forces Bowl just because of the SBC.. Troy, ArkState are good programs but they do nothing for most of the fan base.. Fresno and SDSU have been ranked, while there are hopes Troy could be..

Agreed they have not been the problem but depth along the DL has been on the 2nd and 3rd lines..

Building s brand is not playing Troy.. building a brand is playing TT/KSU/Fresno/SdSU.. schools that are ahead of you and not behind you..

Uhh the fans that said we are playing young guys on defense and that we are still “adjusting to the system” on defense...

The bowl we had discussions with was not the CUSA FL bowls.. it was the Cure Bowl in Orlando between SBC and AAC.. FAU can hope for the offer, but UNT has had them visit and shown the fan base will travel in the region to see the old NO bowls.. But from what I have heard from people in the ticket office unless it was way up the food chain..

I’ve said it before and will again.. put him at DT/NG.. he alone would fill a gap.. he doesn’t have it get to the QB and he can put up his arms and be 7 foot..

Plenty of people here have voice displeasure with the NO, and plenty of younger alumni and students as well that would like to see a better match up.. Hell if they should pass up the NO and go play SDSU or FS.. atleast they were ranked and are in a higher conference as well..

FAU was 3-9 last year.. 10-3 this year.. I would take the FAU angle any day of the week.. Fans are not upset st the season, they are upset we are settling for 2nd best or even worse in the bowl game most likely...

I never once said that.. I’m a fan and I’m not going because it’s a bottom feeder bowl.. The admin has choices for bowls, and they should go.. but again we should not be happy with a bottom feeder bowl game..
