Success from his Miami days with the results of the team and the talent HRC helped turn out, along with coaching in the NFL as a DC and HC.. among other things.. Even if he is doing some shady things, FIU hopes he can have an impact that will make it worth it.. Baylor was down this year but look At what Briles did for Baylor.. Increase enrollment, new stadium, millions more in donations, etc..

I would think people would think about it, but none of the coaches have any real recruiting trouble or been around any trouble outside of Langston, I believe.. But Davis and Wilson have been placed that have had some questions

Why give them a stage? Who cares, but because it’s a state school we recruit against and should spank, on top of it being a “cheaper” travel cost compared to going to a place like Army. also tsu should bring a solid turnout as well. Bring TSU here and spank them and see how that affects the “stage”

1- A possible big addition to the QB room before Spring, I’m going to guess it would be a grad transfer? I’m going to doubt the team would potentially have 3 FR QBs but Tune is still out there 👀 2- That Slot spot next year is going to be to one hell of a spot.. Brewer, Lawerence, Darden wow.. really sucks they had fo burn Howard’s RS as well. 3- We need to recruit a TE or 2.. 4- we need some CBs as well. No one is proven outside brooks and hall. 5- Havw we ever find out what is going on with Nick Williams? I remember we all were impressed with his tape.. 6- What is going on with the LS spot? #91 graduates (I believe) and I’m guessing Jake Davis was/is a SR with Durham, still recovering for a blown out knee at Iowa.

Figure they brought in 5 BS (Blue-shirts) last year, but they had 3 kids that signed that never made it to campus.. So I’m saying at the very least we had 20 scholarships for this class.. We had 16 committed, -1 in Carroll who we don’t know what is going on, and -1 in Redfearn (know I likely misspelled it) since he is a PWO right now because of the leg injury.. that gets us to 14.. So at the worst it’s 4-6 potentials spots.. The question is who else is still out there for us to hopefully get, and it maybe time we look at other schools and see who they signed leaving a few kids without options we could possibly get

Now the question turns to Carroll, is he delaying signing because of the state championship (like some kids have) or is he out completely?

Very happy this is a Blueshirt because it opens up another slot for us and allows for UNT to also help with his recovery.

Reminds me somewhat of last years class.. in terms of adding a few exciting players (Gibbs, Davis, Williams) who could be Day 1 players for us and hopefully in a larger role than what Sanders, Davis has.. the JUCOs DL don’t seem like sexy pickups and neither do the OL. The QBs I’m excited about, and the WR and the RB I just wonder how it’s going to work with all the RBs (Smith, Johnson, Torrey, Siggers, Wyche).. with the last few spots we have, we need to add to either the LBs, CBs, or DL. I do agree we need to add an NG, just someone who can eat up a gap or 2 on a run play. I’m very excited about the potential of Nixon as well. Nixon, Hunt, Davis all looked like solid tacklers and that is something we need on this defense, we give up to many broken tackles it seems. Gradewise- I would give it a B.. but with these last 4-5 spots it would be great to see them add 2/3 more 3* players and hopefully Day1 starters

Jackson I believe will be a SR next year.. Would think Rico and Guyton start, Jackson and White are the first back up outside.. If White RSed, I would expect the same with Austin..
