5 games vs A+ programs... 2 close wins.. and 3 matchups also resulted in blow outs and 1 conference record for worst defensive performance ever.. A- for me is a bit high because of the types of beatings we took... I would have said a B as of now, but could go to a B+ depending on if we have staffing changes/final signees.

Funny thing is.. the Manvel kids who committed to AM still haven’t signed.. hope UNT can get Martin here on campus and go hard after the other Manvel kids once he is on campus.

UNT will not be a Top 25 team till we win CUSA games by 24+ regularly, beat up on a SMU team, and beat a P5.. Sadly, next year we likely would have to go undefeated to get Top 25 votes.. Playing I-ward and Liberty hurts our schedule strength.

Vandy lost multiple LBs this year... come here and compete for a job, or go and compete at Vandy with the education? Also, the bottom feeder of the SEC is still light years ahead of wherever UNT will be in the next 2 years or any other CUSA program

The point is not updating Robertson career.. it’s that we go through our current NFL players in 3 paragraphs with 2 of the 3 being as a back up and FB.. If Thompson did pass because of our lack of NFL production a way to expand it is via listing who the coaches have coached and not players only directly tied to UNT. Yes the staff likely talks about it, but again if you want to pump up a fan base, give fans hope and something else to sale is to list who they have coached. Would look a lot better us being able to rifle off 10-20 players this staff has coached and 5-6 LBs (including Orr/Robertson) that have come from this staff as well. The message has to be twitched, not completely changed...

They (the AD office and football staff) point it out weekly when they do the how former UNT players did this past NFL week with only 1 real player. UNT has produced very little current NFL talent.. Our only productive current player is Robertson. SL has coached bigger names like Gronk and Foles at Arizona, T. Coleman of Atlanta, Swisher of the Cowboys (and a few NFL OL) and coached the #2 in Trusbicky. instead of just focusing on UNT players, the AD office, Football Staff, and us need to expand and talk about who the coaches have coached.. Where did I say NFL scouts won’t find talent?! I never did, I’ve pointed that people think Fine won’t get a chance and he is basically the same player as Russell Wilson..

Interesting... it was brought up here before that we needed to look into the HS Relations staff, and the Recruiting Coordinator... Lets hope the HS Relations is a boost to recruiting that is needed.. Also, hope we can hold on to GH, having him will be critical for Masons development, and OL as well.

Mason is basically 20 lbs away (to be super conservative saying Wilson only put on 4 pounds of added bulk) and has 2 years to still develop... Safe to say, Wilson had no real major size advantages over Mason likely..

Commitment from both parties? Coaches sign players on NSD then dash the next day, just look at our staff from last year.. We signed a bunch of guys on NSD, the next day we had 3/4 coaches leave.. Shit happens and the kid had something come up. Let’s move on like adults and not worry about the guy looking out for HIS well being and his families future. Seeing grew men tossing up negativity on his decommitment from UNT just makes us look even worse.

Hamilton did it... Davis did it I believe (or one of other other top recruits we signed did)... They do it to gain followers and just a fun way to see which fan bases turn out and support the players...

More like WTF to the UNT fans that have sent replies some of the most disappointing replies back.. (FYI for people who haven’t looked of the 10 replies to the tweet, 5 or 6 are from bitter/upset UNT fans..) Not saying he may (or may have) flip/flipped back to us, but if we had any chance it’s likely gone now..
