If Morris left.. Could open up Briles Jr to look for a job... thoughts on him possibly coming to UNT in some form? I know its unlikely but would be a solid add to the staff in terms of Name and Recruiting ability

For someone who the #1 target in an Air-Raid and was expected to have a breakout year.. he did not.. thats why he was a disappointment this year

You may check the Fort Worth records, because the team stays down near TMS.. but could it be grades? Because didnt SL make Ivery sit out the entire spring to get right in the classroom? disappointing bc of this and the lack of production as well.. Avg. less then 4 catches a game...

wonder what are the chances we could pull in both? I feel if we did that would give us a lot of good momentum going into the summer/fall camps

Do either of these schools have kids that we have had come visit? Also, do you think they bring kids from SMOO and HOU with them or settle on the classes already or do kids back out of BAY and UT commits?

Its the same system as vs Army... Would be a solid game.. and a very quality opponent as well in Navy.. Remember Navy beat HOU... if we came out and handled Navy could be huge for recruiting.. I like the Navy Match up a lot more then playing TCU or even UT...

I think Wren would be given the chance to match it... I think Baker is smart enough to know and aware enough to get the $ to keep SL

Sends a message and hopefully these guys will come back with the energy to have a better year next year.. Goree has been a disappointment.. Also shows SL isn't willing to put winning over rules as well

is a pretty good offer list.. seems to be on the back burner for bigger schools, and would love to have him come in... No WR spot should be safe for anyone next year

Decommitted from Iowa... Didn't like how IU would bring in recruits but commits couldn't visit other schools... Would be a nice haul late to get Holmes and Beau from Georgetown

would like to see him RS put on some pounds and the be a OT for us with his quick feet or even as a guard

Where would we rank him in terms of WRs possible if he game in? Outside or inside? Starting WR or on a rotation?

Amen... Depending on the Bowl game and the time of year... Would be great to see them go with a solid chrome UNI like with some green or even change out the green on the helmet and do Green and Red for Xmas...

Amen, been saying this since the UTSA game... Let fine come in and play the running QB role/ at times passer role.... This helps out the RBs and WRs as well its crazy also... me and few other people have been saying this for weeks and we were called not supporting Fine.. and Morris has a good game and everyone flips... Morris gives this Offense the best chance to pass the ball, which also leads to opening it up for the running game... Having Fine and Morris as well play makes both of them more dangerous as well... yes morris has thrown his share of INTs but you don't see Morris out there taken sacks or staying in the pocket at times like Fine.. Morris will throw picks but he will also throw the ball out of bounds to save you a 8 to 10 yard sack... Morris should be the choice for the Bowl game as well, but let Fine get into the game as well at times, let Fine get into a bowl game even for a few drives because it will help prep him for in the future as well..

I never said I wanted them to stay home... My point through out this post has been we need to play someone that we can be competitive against.. and not be another body-bag game like it would/could be vs TCU or UT.. yes they are having down years but those offenses can explode and most likely would vs this defense and their defense wouldn't have to worry as much either with our WRs lacking the ability to get off of press at times... Give me someone we can have a fair against such as Army... A) its a great rematch B) Both teams could bring a solid fan base C) Its a fair match up in terms of talent for both teams.. Yes we should have the edge in terms of talent but we only have 60 something on scholarship...

Idk but people seem to think we can compete vs Big 12 schools like TCU and UT I would just like a bowl and a respectable game.. not backwoods beat down

yea a 30 point beat down.. that would be something great to sale to recruit...

My point is that UNT is not on par with any of these teams they said teams are healthy... We can think that UNT would have won last night even with USM #1 QB playing but I don't believe that... We have beat 1 solid C-USA team and that is Marshall, and even that is a reach... We got taken out to wood-shed and beaten badly but WKU, LAT, MTSU(outside of 2 or 3 drives).... We can't even beat avg C-USA teams... Yea USM got lucky, and we have gotten lucky as well.. remember rice? remember army with them missing multiple possible INTs and them turning it over.. or even the UTSA game... we aren't ready to play and win vs these vastly more talented teams, yes we could get lucky... but we could also end up being on another end of a WKU/LAT beat down or even worse a UTSA L and lose all of these good feelings going into the offseason...

Vandy beat MTSU and WKU, and USM beat Kentucky....Also, USM beat Kentucky with their #1 QB... we barely beat them vs their #3 QB last night...

Only thing I could think of is A) Turn out wont be great since its will be right after thanksgiving, B) Fans more then likely wouldn't wanna be out in the cold... Would be great if they did something tho like in the super pit, or the Union in the big ballrooms that they have up on the 2nd floor

I think it's between Wilson or SL.. I give it to which gets their team bowl eligible, but if both do... then SL bc of what's he has done here

Agree with them playing spoiler.. but do we know are they a young team? Or are they older? If they are older, maybe best we come out and have anything big 1Q which builds into a solid 1Half.. could then lead to them playing the younger guys for the future and easier for us

After the HOD bowl win the attendance did improve but stil didn't sell out any games... yes a game vs a big school would spark interest but look what that W vs army did for us.. a lot of people took notice.. it's a safer bet vs someone like army than vs UT or some other p5 team.. go out positive and not with a gaint beat down.. this team and athletic program needs positive energy and a W vs a solid program like Army can give us positive energy and a major confidence boost for us fans and the program.

I believe Tucket went out with an injury and I'm not sure I saw him again.. who is else do we have at RB besides Nic Smith and Jeff Wilson since he had surgery? Is Ivery our only other healthy RB with the status on Tucker unknown
