  1. Not sure how to feel about Navy but this could be huge.. also with when the game could be as well, Navy could be on a quick turn around after army

Should do a package for something like Dinner with the coaches during the dead period for recruiting.. an extra 20 bucks or something per plate for some Rudys or something... coaches can talk recruiting or even about the season and answer questions. This extra $ could then be spent on the last few weeks of recruiting.. with things like more free give away stuff or increased visits from area students...
  3. Thoughts on if we would/could sale out Apogee for a Championship game?
  4. Real question is... If/When UNT gets to the C-USA Championship game... do we sale out the entire stadium???

I'm not saying the HoD would be packed but Army should have a lot more fans than UNLV... also, the ideas that Bases like Fort Hood or Fort Sill would send soldiers won't happen most likely because of the cost and everyone away.. also, most enlisted don't care yes, but with them being near by it will be a draw.. playing in the armed forces for an example all vets get free tickets... You somewhat proved my point.. with you not having to leave the state nor region... along with you saying you would drive to see them in the bowl.. Army will have an okay similar to what Navy would bring.. plus army gives us a chance at 6 Wins

  9. UNT should not say no to anyone... these Grad-Transfers add depth and are here on a 1-yr deal basically... Also, we need more talent no matter what

UNT wouldn't have to contact any of the army bases, because most soldiers will already be home on leave already and the ones who remain at the bases most likely will be likely to stay as well... There are enough Vets in the DFW area as well. At UNT alone their is nearly 4,500 Vets... The best way for Army would be to have the recruiting stations bring new recruits to the game... Also, I do agree it would be great to play someone ranked like WMU and it would be a program changing win, and I would think SL and them would like to take on the challenge.. But with how successful were to this season, we need to go out with a W honestly... Everyone was ready to fire and move on from everyone on this staff not named SL after the UTEP butt kicking.... But WMU/Navy are alot better than we are... if we play Army, they are alot closer to us in terms of talent level and also they will be getting in on APR just like us most likely... Alot of people won't view this as a "sexy' match up, but this is a school that we recruit alot of kids against, and its winnable game for either side which would lead to greater attendance. But a W in the bowl game, will be huge for these kids/coaches, and for recruits... Everyone should agree that playing someone like Army and getting a W or even being competetive is better than playing Navy or WMU and getting taken out the woodshed.. Also, it won't be great having it on ESPN either as well.
  11. As great that would be, really hoping we play Army Would like to see them Pair us up with Army and WMU vs Baylor

Could be a good time for the them to group in something like a Dinner with the coaches, as well.. during the Dead Period of Recruiting maybe have a dinner where to coaches talk about their position groups or something.... That and some Pre-Game experience stuff could increase the $ the programs needs for that spring recruiting
  13. We need someone to tag Wren and AF/HoD Bowl saying look at how many people would come to a local bowl if invited with people RT and Liking it plus the # of people they will bring.. that could help us getting into a local bowl
  14. Really hoping we get Army in the AFBowl.. LATech can have Navy in the HoD

  16. Do we have a list of Grad Transfers? Honestly with the depth issues that we have, we need to take on as many as possible just to increase depth like we did with Hood and Morris.
  17. While I do agree... Why would we have given this kid more of a leash than Morris? We will never know what coulda been, but the Devante did well as he should have going from Ole Miss to Grambling
  18. agreed.. plus what if something we say clicks? Maybe this kid would love to play from day 1 and start local and go to a school with a family connection.. Look at the Tackle we got from LD Bell, he is coming here because his family has went to UNT... Also, even if we were to make it into to top 10 or this kids top whatever.. that is something to pride ourselves on, and something else this kid could sale to other potential players on the team as well... If you never try, you will never actually make it

Kid gets a ton of YAC and makes people miss... UNT should be all over this kid I think. Also, he creates a lot of separation as well which is something that we need at WR
  22. Want a UNTvs Army bowl with LAtech Vs Navy.. one game once Fort Worth and other in HoD.. not a sexy match IOC UNT and Army but will/should be a solid crowd.
  23. Rumored last night on podcast they are off but could possibly earn way back onto team in the spring/summer
  24. Izzy is a dec grad.. he will have the same options and chances like Fine.. but Fine has been in the system 6 months longer so
