When you say message what do you mean by that? I'm sure it has been brought up on here and may already be in the recruiting section, but do we have a list of ways/what is allowed in terms of contact between recruits and alumni, boosters, fans, and students? Not to say the information isn't good that we get from people on here(because I think its better to get information and be safe), but would be great if we somehow got in contact with the AD Staff and they gave us what is exactly allowed by the NCAA and possibly what UNT would recommend as well. Just so we know and we don't put UNT into any tough/rough spots. Hopefully this all makes sense, because honestly we could have a big impact with some of these kids. Also, Could be good for all of us to get a refresher with recruiting season heating up.

Would be great if we could get fans, to tweet out or add some photos of the campus and even games such as the West Point game, Bowl game, Homecoming etc. We all could forward it to some place for our recruiting accounts to tweet out to kids as a reminder about UNT, and to get more photos out there as well

Thanks, I wasn't aware that was the charge, but I do agree, not worth the risk possibly. This is so true about the just finding guys for your system. Denver Broncos did it for years with late round RBs/undrafted.. Orr in Baltimore, or even New England with the ability to turn late round players into something. We bring in guys that produce for the system, it will lead to better recruits.

True AM doesn't send all of them in, but it still holds all of them to the same standard. PT/FTX/ etc.. Even sending them during the summer off there version of BTC as well.

While it wasn't a great showing yes, they played New Mexico at home and held up well for a team that was in it first bowl game vs an experienced/talented team. We all should be glad that it wasn't a blow out(not saying it was supposed to be) but we need to support C-USA in the bowl games. WKU put a beat down on Memphis, and we need to hope LAT does as well on Navy. That shows the powerhouse teams in C-USA can play these bigger conferences(even if it's the American) and win. SM beating ULaLa in a bowl that they go to all the time just like New Mexico isn't easy. New Mexico/ULALa have a history in those bowls and they are home games for those schools. We expected C-USA to be 2-1, now it's up to ODU,MTSU,LAT, UNT to finish it off. If C-USA can run the table(fingers crossed) that makes all the schools better for recruiting.

Great for C-USA in terms of Talent, offense, also this should get us to 2-1 for C-USA. UTSA, SM, WKU have held up their end with solid showings.. now up to ODU, UNT, LAT, MTSU to finish it up. Also, great job they are doing in it with Intern HC

AM Corp does it just like West Point and BCT for the Army.. Not sure about UNT, but saying ROTC is a joke isn't completely true

You just need the tickets they mail you, no ID. My first responder tickets don't have seat # just a given area for us to sit. Going to have just move and sit with the rest of my family since I had to get more tickets than expected

Agreed. SL wants to pass more and go fast, going to be hard to find Jordan Murrays that can play in a high tempo pass-pro heavy offense.. Also, I'm assuming this kid is a Dec grad. meaning he will have the entire spring/summer to lift and gain weight.But kid has good feet it looked like, I'd say G maybe T.. now we just need that WR we were hoping

Just looking at his followers, not sure if anyone has looked but an Texas A&M staff member recently followed him as well.. but I think this kid would stay with us over SMU, also that @northtexaseagle go job of showing him the love with that tweet as well.. He retweeted that after the SMU offer, just gotta keep reminding these kids that they can be part of something special. Would be great if the AD and staff could get some of the big name former UNT players like Orr, Trice, Robertson, Dunbar, Quinn, Cobbs, Spencer, Thompson, Mean Joe, even a few of the current plays talking about UNT and then saying "The New U"

Yes blue-shirts count against the next years class, from what I have read on from last years NSD... I'm not sure how it would work if we have offered them a PWO such a Mann or Pirtle or any others. But basically the player comes here as a "walk-on" and then is offered a scholarship once fall camp starts, he would then count against the following years class, so in the case of someone like Pirtle or Mann(who i'm not sure were blue-shirt, but I would doubt it) instead of counting towards 2016 class their scholarship would count to 2017 I've been wondering how many/if any blue-shirts did we give out in the last class that could have ate up/filled spots in the 2017 class. With how many commits we have we could have only have a few more spots open/ or we could still be needing another 12-13 kids to fill it if we didn't blue-shirt anyone.
