I would say keep Army, but I'm very Bias as I was in the Army. Also, Army had a solid showing at the HOD Bowl as well. I feel like UNT fans view SMU as a rival and SMU looks down at UNT. Just like how UNT looks down at UTSA. UTSA should be a rival. As much as we don't want to view/nor call it a rivalry, it already is and we are the ones to blind to say it because we don't think they have earned their place at the dinner table. Well none of us did as toddlers but we still got to sit, embrace it everyone. UTSA and SMU seem to be our biggest rivals, and outside of TX our biggest rival should be LAT.

We need to remember that this was before the RV/WB Report was turned in about how to change the financial outcome of all the sports. I believe in a post by Vito when he got a copy of the report said something that Athletics is paying for Apogee instead of the school. Also, we need to remember WB brought in someone to just to just focus on the books and see where we can cut and adjust the spending. What I think is needed and something WB and the staff should look into is finding ways to create and find new ways of generating cash. We have talked about it on here before. Many people on here would pay 25-100 bucks to have dinner with the coaches and WB. Would be great if they did something like a week or 2 before the spring game talking about this past season, or even the recruits that they just signed and how they would work into the gameplan for next year. Selling bricks for something like "Alumni Ally" and have it be from the buses to Apogee where they walk in, or on the Alumni side. We have to get current students emotionally connected. Do Q/As with former players like Quinn, Hall, Spencer, Kennedy, Cobb, Orr, etc.. We even talked about the Mean Joe Greene Statue, and we had a plan for it to be designed but RV was canned before it was completed. Yes, the coaches are busy during the Summer and Fall, and the first few weeks of Spring. But after signing day, it should slow day till spring practices. Many of us, would be willing to chip in a few bucks to go see SL and Ek/GH talk about schemes or old football stories or even about players and how their position groups developed, or WB to talk about his vision and how we all be involved.

As much as we want UNT to buy out these match ups with these FCS schools, I would much rather us keep them and save that $$ for them to re-invest into the program, but even we are seen reports that we are losing money. Also, playing Army is a national televised game as well on CBS Sports. Keeping Army on the Sch. is great for us and them. We just just need to get behind Army's local fan base and help them come out like they did for the HOD game. Even in a few years when we hope to be clicking and everything is going great. Army will still want to play us, because A) Doesn't cost them much, B) this is a hotbed for them to recruit

Also, Remember it was rumored on here that Augie from last years class is enrolling for the spring as a PWO as well...

Would be great to add him, just not sure if we will have the scholarships to sign him late like we did last year. Know it's unlikely but I'm guessing we couldn't get him as a blue-shirt could we?

Yes he is already at UNT was here for the fall. Reports are he could come back but it would be as a PWO

When would McNeal be enrolling if we got him? Is he a midterm or be here in the summer?

It's great for SL and WB to do this, even if it wasn't much it truly shows they are great individuals who will do what is right.

You ask people 2 weeks ago and this staff can't recruit they would say.. but yet we added Izzy, the JUCO OL, Guyton, Bradley, and the Trinity OL... that's 1/4 of the entire class. We can say they aren't getting top recruits but Guyton and Bradley lead this class, with Izzy having a chance to be our QB next year as a PWO...

Should be an OL with him only having limited time left. Also with depth issues on OL seems unlikely to switch sides of the ball

Is this something @Brett Vito could answer or get info for us about if Izzy is a PWO or scholarship? Also, shocking a guy who was ranked/thought highly of could only be a PWO. Could it be he is a walk on till the fall then offered a scholarship? Or any options that could be used for him to possibly be a scholarship player in the future?

A lot more schools run the air-raid now so those kids that went to Tech then now go to bigger schools. Easier to add weight than add speed. With him coming in early, he will have the entire spring with the weight room staff Also, they wanna run the No-Huddle.

Would like to see Tucker pack on some lbs. With Wilson, Wyche, johnson(believe that's the RB recruit from Louisiana), Nic Smith.. Tucker could be that goal line back if he packs them on. Also should we expect Ivery back or should we expect another RB possibly? So I think we all would love another OL, along with any help on defense.. 2 guys I'm wanting is McNeal and the LB from Northwest. Our defense struggled with tackling adding this Northwest LB, Davis, Fulp we have a solid young LB core Murray and #77 I hope we see a major improvement in spring after bowl practices.

Thanks for the info about the grad transfers. I thought basically they would slot into whatever class year-wise that they committed to their original school without impact on the 2016 or 2017 class. Then after they completed their 1 year usually they would just fall off the books
