Glad we have WB, SL, NS hopefully(and most likely) selling and presenting to these kids and their parents a vision for the school, program now and in the future. Hoping they are showing future plans for the Athletic complex as well with the indoor facility, etc.

Had Perry landed any recruits for this cycle?

He looks like he is still growing into his body in his film. But I can only image this kid could put on 40-50 LBs and it wouldn't effect him

Yes I'm aware. Also I forgot to put in Morse from Trinity. Adding another JUCO would allow us to add depth and RS any HS OT we get ideally.

I'm guessing the staff views it as a possibly that we could flip this non-named recruit?

It won't stop till states step in. The state of Louisiana has talked about cutting funding to schools like LSU because of coaches salaries.

With the commitments we already have in Newman, W-Spoon, JUCO. I know we view Newman as the C, I'm guessing Spoon and the JUCO would be Gs? Would be really nice to add any other JUCO at T

As much as I would like to see some commitments, I'd rather the staff lock in guys like Fulp, Bradley, etc who may/could get picked off. Lock up who we already got committed, then its hUNTing season the last 2 weeks to finish out the class.

Need the school to be promoting and talking about this.

People are worried because Biagi doesn't have a 24/7 profile and a list of recruits he has landed. If they thought at Arkansas that he could be a HC in 10-15 years that is great and should give us confidence. It's very hard to get a HC gig let alone people think that about you after you leave. Even if he wasn't the lead guy for these recruits(The WR from VA, DE from NC) it's should give us confidence that he is an active recruiter even when/if he is limited to being on campus or out on the road. Yes Perry was a proven coach as a ST-coord and proven as a recruiter. But we still have been a middle tier/lower tier ST school(look at the rankings.) As we have said coaches that aren't in P5 like to shuffle around to try and break though. We don't know Perry was forced out or if it was him or even if was mutual. SL has earned our confidence when it comes to hires with how this staff has taken shape. We can be worried about us out in East Texas, but I'm sure SL and the staff have a plan for losing Perry.

I did a project over the arms races in college football. You should look at UGA, Tennessee, Clemson to name a few football facilities. They have entire staffs for graphics, film, guys designing APPs for these schools as well. Schools are also using other sports to get more football scholarships getting guys who play Football and basketball, baseball, or even track. Football is becoming more specialized and having new careers just to get people involved. UNT hopefully embraces new ideas and new ways to find revenue streams to help increase and expand the program.

FIU has butch Davis. Also FAU has Kiffin and Kendall Briles. WKU also hired Notre Dames DC. Also, this guy is a Top-5/10 JUCO WR just like Guyton. Would have been great if we could have landed him.

Think people were hoping it would be booker just because of the players he has landed. I'm guessing people aren't sure about Biagi because he was a GA and doesn't have a 24/7 profile for us to see who all he has recruited. Also, even if Biagi is only a ST coordinator, I think we can make do. I'm sure coaches like GH, SL, Etc when they watch film see RBs that stand out. Also,having GAs like Byrd on the staff along, with Choice being around I think it can be made up. Having a solid/ improved ST game will help vastly. Better field position for offense and longer fields for the defense. This defense got put in some very rough spots, because of the offense and just aiding them with Keena leaving will be huge.

I saw on 24/7 they had Devodric higher rated or close to McNeal.

I'd love to add McNeal and this kid. I can't remember the Jackson kids tape, but another WR id like to keep an eye on is Zico or Sam Crawford or even Devodric Bynum. Then Carson as the 2nd on defense.

I would think it's meant to help out kids who are basically decided on where they wanna go but schools keep trying till the very end. Also, could open up slots for middle of the road kids from Dec till next round of signings

I wouldn't say that. He retweeted all the stuff from English and GMG tweets to him. The longer he is out there the better for us. I think he is wanting to go a team that he can play right away and that could get him to the next level. What is scary FAU can toss around Briles WRs in the pros and Kiffin with his Bama ties. Gotta hope we can talk him into coming home and playing time... Izzy, fine, Pearson needa get on this along with the new coach
