  1. I was kind of shocked that SL didn't go with any either.. I believe Baylor hired 3 HS coaches..
  2. Im going to say he is a WR/TE because he is followed by Filani
  3. No Idea, but I'm assuming Blue-shirt or PWO since no tweet from @UNTGridIron
  4. Committed to us, but not tweet about it yet from school..
  5. If he is staying in TX and going to a JUCO, maybe thats why he took OV to UCLA and FAU... free flight and everything??? hmmm
  6. I'm going to say its a good sign if he didn't commit while on his OV.
  7. I agree but I believe he is going to a JUCO in the area, so maybe thats the reason for no OV?
  8. I thought he missed a few games this year? Also, with this kids length and the depth we have at CB should allow him to RS. Seems to me to look like he has a Nate Brooks frame. Also, reading the link Vito put into his about this kid being the 37th ranked player in OK they say he had the ability to be ranked higher with more "elite" DBs. 37) JORDAN ROBERTS – Ardmore – Defensive Back Ardmore defensive back Jordan Roberts could end up being higher on this list and up with some of the other elite defensive backs in the 2017 class. He doesn’t have the speed or quickness that some of the other defensive backs but his size is ideal for a cover corner back. His ability to tackle in open space also separates him from some of the other prospects in Oklahoma.
  9. He had announced he would be on an OV to FAU and UCLA. Also, McNeal is following Choice now and tweeted out to Orr as well. Still hoping this can happen
  10. I believe Vito did confirm that he is a PWO, with the chance to earn a scholarship in the Fall. If this is true, any benefit in waiting to give the ship?
  11. Well SL and the staff did it last year, with the additions of players like Jenkins, Wyche and anothers that came in. I'm sure we will add some guys after NSD
  12. What is great is that WB was the 1st response Orr sent out after his announcement. Not sure if it was intended, but good to know that the new AD has had a great relationship with Orr. Also, I believe our High School Relations Coordinator is an older individual(I could be wrong) but would be great to have Orr come in and work with the staff. Having him meeting with the recruits, coordinating with them, and would love to see him even coach. Also, not sure what to make of it as well but McNeal the WR we are recruiting tweeted out a congrats
  13. I haven't seen UH roster but could Ford get more playing time at UH? With Wilson, Smith, Tucker, Wyche, and any other RBs that we add this class.. plus the limbo status of Ivery?
  14. They should keep 1 or 2 spots open for late guys if they can get them to count vs the 2017 class, but I think they would fill the class then have whoever come here and blue-shirt them if possible. We are just needing to max out our classes now to prep for the # of Jrs and Snrs we will be losing in the next year or 2.
  15. Great showing by him with those stats.
  16. I'm just saying... Even if the kid isn't worth it... the staff should offer to Jerry Jones Grandson.. Just saying grandpa would become a huge donor..
  17. But this staff can't recruit, and with you saying it so long it has to be true! I mean Guyton had multiple bigger school offers... and Bradley has Baylor looking at him, among other schools... but i guess this staff can't do anything right according to you. I mean how many of us would have taken, this staff taking a 1-11 team that got blown out by a D2 school, increase the scoring and decrease the points alllowed, and make a bowl game in less than 1 year... But hey since we can't trash the season since it was alot more successful lets trash recruiting! Boys time to give up on UNT just like UNT90 has!
  18. So real question is, if you could pick which RB would you want? Ford or the kid from Ohio, if you can pick one to pair with Nic Smith.
  19. I agree(that they can recruit) and its old to say they can't recruit(they couldn't recruit till they got Johnson, Haynes even though they didn't make it they still signed them).. I'm not sure how many people here went to the HoD game, but Wilson and Rico were by far the best WRs that we had and those 2 weeks of bowl practices really paid off. But how I view the recruiting, yes it is a disappointment that they didn't get the kid from Griffins HS, and losing other recruits... But honestly I would take the kid from Tulsa over the FTW kid.. But this staff put together a solid class last year(in just a few months), and they have bringing in and finding kids none of us had any idea about. We can be worried and upset that we haven't beaten out the likes of Baylor and that like UTSA has, but how many of those kids have red-flags? Honestly, looking at Twitter Bradley is followed by Baylor, Tulane, just to name a few.. hanging onto him should be viewed higher than getting a kid from Ryan that has major red-flags... The staff brought in Guyton over huge/major programs.. SL and the staff is building this the right way. Give it time and the recruits will come here! But I think people give the staff crap for not being great recruiters because the kids they send in, the coaches pass over them/ don't fit the scheme. Also, everyone thinks bringing in a 5* or 4* recruit is simple, because of this or that at UNT, but every school does that. WB and SL I bet have had talks about how to improve the recruiting in terms of funding, gameday experience, etc.
  20. What about the talent that they face, or is Union the big kid on the block? Kyre's Twitter page says he is 6'4 and runs a 4.47 40... I can only image if this kid put on 20 30 lbs he would dominate.. Lets hope that WB and SL got the right training staff. I see that Filani is recruiting him, so I'm guessing he would be an outside WR with Bradley being an inside WR? Also, I'm just excited about the possibly of Pearson, Rico, Wilson, Bradley, Griffin, and whoever joins in a year or 2...
  21. Do we know was Pearson always going to be a Dec Grad? or was he able to workout something and gradate early?
  22. http://247sports.com/player/tanner-mordecai-91436 Listed at 6'2, 190 lbs, 3* and rated at .8798 http://www.hudl.com/video/3/3310101/58407e2a5b3cda20d444055f (2016 Season) http://www.hudl.com/profile/3310101/tanner-mordecai (Hudl Profile) Has offers from SMU, UH, OSU, Northwestern, Texas Tech, Ole Miss, Missouri, and a few more.
  23. I maybe wrong about the TCU offer... I just assumed it was an offer
  24. He is also a great kid from what I have seen. A family friend of mine, has posted about how Ke'Von and how great he is. I'm not what he gave out, but he came to her house and gave her little brothers and sisters some treats. Also, I do agree this kid will most likely explode on the recruiting circuit. Gotta hope that GH brother can put in a good word.
