  1. once again I only did within C-USA with players that would have been blue-shirts from last years commit list that would be considered BS which would count towards the 2017 class! But 7th or 8th with 2 players that count as 0s is darn good considering its 1 year since a D2 blew us out! Also it puts us only a few points aways from being in the top 5! you can disagree but its only being done for cusa!
  2. questioning mine but yet none from you?! This is crazy! Very much like the Press!
  3. This sounds like some Fake News! I guess you did the math wrong!
  4. I did it for the rest of C-USA when I did this! other classes only added lower guys that would given them a minor bump! Either way the class moves up if we can't last years blue-shirts or this years.. The BS from last year that would count vs this year actually move the class higher just looking at with Jenks and Hoston given the class around a 8 to 10 bump each with 2 guys that count as 0 that aren't factored in...
  5. We can either include the likes of Jenks, Hoston, Wyche, Thomas with this class since they actually count vs this class, or we can include the blue-shirts that 24/7 took off.. the blue-shirts from this year or lower ranked than Jenks, Hoston, Wyche.. With the likes of Tibbs, Spoon, Punter, were included earlier today now removed since they didn't sign LOI
  6. Finished it.. looks like we would be 7th or 8th... with Jenks being our #2 recruit and Hoston with #3 along with Wyche coming in as #8 with Jackson Thomas lower on the list and 2 players who didn't get ranked!
  7. If they don't count to this class.. then we should count the likes of Jenkins, Hoston, Wyche, and others??? they all outrank the guys I named LOL so the class is even higher No idea why this got a dislike, but I guess adding our past blueshirts who would count to this class and improve it is something fans don't like since we can't count this years blue-shirts since they are tech. a 2019 signee.. .
  8. We have dropped because of them pulling out the blue-shirts from the class, when before they had them included. This class is still a top 10 class, with the likes of Cain(multiple D1 offers), Tibbs, Spoon, and the Punter, and Izzy
  9. KId has descent size at 6'0 and 170... Also according to Scout.com he had Air Force and Colorado State
  10. Would love to have him do that, but I think they should design something for him.. If he wants to Coach let him coach, if he wants to do Admin stuff hire him as a High School Relationship director or something.. Also, they need to plasture him all over the place Was just about to post this section of the email as well. Well the last remodel was done most likely under RV, I would think that with the upgrades to the Women's Locker Room we should expect some solid/ good improvement. Also, I wanna say that WB had tweeted out recently saying that there will be an announcement soon about the Indoor Practice Facility... Hoping that they talk about it tonight, but at the event for fans.
  11. Its online at the tech website I believe.. and its not the spring game, they will be doing that in LBK at night they say, but it will just be doing like a 1 or 2 thing in Frisco... UNT needs to nail down this stuff
  12. I'll go out on a limb and say the likely reason we aren't pulling in higher rated players could be in part because of 1) the lack of success that has happened to UNT, 2) The coaches are finding kids who will be here for the long term and kids that will be on campus in the fall... SL and them got burned by Haynes, Johnson, and Hoston(even though he made it to campus, he never got to the field) among others... I would think that the staff placed more of an importance on getting to school with them being here for sure than on the field with the possibly of showing up to campus... Yes, it would be great to sign a class like UTSA or FAU and even 1 or 2 or 3 don't show up, you still have a solid class but then the problem is can they qualify in the classroom to be able to play every day. Yes this isn't the sexy way to do it, but with the # of SRs that graduated that had important roles on the team in Buyers, Scott, Gray, TT, Morris, Keenan, Davis.. SL and them had to make sure that the kids we got today, show up... I would think in the coming future they will be very aggressive with players that would be summer-transfers like we saw with Jenkins, Wyche, and even Hoston. This class isn't super sexy today but its a group of kids that should all be here and a class of kids that are connected and seem willing/ ready to help do their part to improve this program. Also, they found multiple solid PWO as well with them adding Boyd, McIntye(the Fresh walkon that replaced Goree) among others. We dropped because they zeroed out Thornton and left off the Punter... Not sure if something happened with the Punter... Losing Bradley hurt for the rankings because he was around 9 or 10 additional points to the Class Point Total.. if UH hadn't of landed Bradley, he would be up near/around WKU and LAT
  13. Just going to say again, his GF is going to SM to play volleyball.. would be a nice way to get add both
  14. Looked about 20 minutes ago.. SDSU still hadn't confirmed saying he had signed.... fingers crossed but I know its unlikely
  15. Would love to add 1 or 2 more guys like White, Siggers, and the kid from Houston.. added 3 3* in the last 24 hours, so they are out there
  16. now question is.. how full are the other schools classes?
  17. Also, should be hearing soon about the practice facility and more from WB.. Tonight would be a great time for him to announce it as well..
  18. Roberts, and Tibbs are BS.. King I saw was rumored to be a BS with Spoon.. McGhee should be in soon, but I'm guessing that all of Cal-Fullerton guys are signing at the same time with that coming in the next 1 or 2 hours(I'm guessing) we had the same delay last year with the AZWestern guys
  19. While Darden isn't Bradley, this kid isn't bad himself with offers from VT, Memphis to name a few, the question now is about his grades.. I'm sure that the staff after getting burned by a few last year because of grades put a great importance on grades to get them to campus, but because of the APR as well.. Adding Darden and Novi are great "surprise" additions today... Hoping that once the dust settles, that we could add 1 or 2 more kids like Darden, Siggers, and White.. Also, Meen2018 is on point with the size is what hurt him, if he had been 2-3 inches taller and 20 lbs heavier, this is a P5 talent
  20. We aren't full yet.. But we did a surprise in Novi and Jaedin(the Houston WR). Parish said he was a blueshirt, so maybe he was a PWO signee but they didn't announce anything for Spoon from LD Bell, even though he tweeted out something so maybe they swapped spots? Last year they got a bump later in the afternoon after guys on the West Coast did their LOI, but not sure if we should be expecting any West Coast guys this time. But with them leaving a few spots open, wouldn't be surprised to pick up a kid or 2 late like we did last year. While its not the star-studded class that people had hoped for they did add 3 of the better recruits within the last 24 hours..
  21. As much as we hate to say it.. UTSA has gotten the better of us, when it comes on the field, and in recruiting.. Be able to show that they have beaten us on the field gives them a 1 up on us.. include in the City life of SA vs Denton... Denton has fry street, SA has bars all over, SA has resort style hotels to treat kids on visits, SA has the Riverwalk and we have the square... Also, UTSA got a kid drafted last year as well.. Another thing is that they have an entire market to themselves, we have to compete with the Cowboys, SMU, TCU among other school.. It also helps that they have a former coach that was a National Champ at Miami to start off the program, and now a HC that had recruiting ties to TX before even started. The HS coaches know Wilson because they have met him before, but SL couldn't spend as much time here in TX building relationships like Wilson could because he was at AZS, IU, or UNC so that also gives Wilson a heads up because HC can only visit so much, so we have to find a way to get SL and the staff around the HS Staffs more.. Also, playing in a dome I think gives them an advantage because not everyone gets that chance(even if it is in crappy condition compared to Apogee.) Name recognition as well is something that helps as well, so Kiffin with his Bama rings, Briles with what Baylor has done on offense, FIU with Butch Davis and his Miami Rings... Some of these schools are dumping money to patch the holes and win quick, while UNT is trying to win quick but having to change entire culture of the school.. During football season, it would be brought up if people would be going to games, and people would say "why go its UNT? Not like we can win." Winning fixes it all.. Offering better teams to play against like we have agreed to with Tech is great, but everyone wants to Wins, and that is why we had a lot more people at the HoD than any other home game.. You win and the fans and players will come. UNT is a school on the up now, not because of the last season but because of the entire campus. The improvements made and coming at the school will help improve the chances of landing recruits. Improved facilities for football and other sports and improvements in the classroom will lead to success. When WB and SL say true in the process, it maybe worrisome for us because of RV and his track record, but WB and SL have a vision. We are only nervous about it because they have not put out what the progress points are between present day and in the future of where they want us to be. One more thing as well, SL and the staff completely change the offense and defense. Going from a run-first that looks for big stocky OL vs the Air-Raid OL added to the reason why UNT wasn't a sexy name as well. Going through the WKU and LAT hurt us on the stat sheet which recruits don't look at but it's something other schools bring up saying they are a higher ranked this or that(with kids not going into depth on the data for who we played) with that said we did play something like 4 of top 15 offenses this year in WKU, LAT, Army, and SM.. I'm not sure how easy it was for UTSA to go from Coker to Wilson's offense and defense, but the transition did effect the product, and why we should be encouraged with how they performed on offense at least at the HoD. Also, and this is on WB and his staff, but they have to find a way to get people emotional invested into the sports... if is it setting up something that new students pay automatically 40-50 bucks over their time at UNT to have a brick with their name that goes onto the new practice facility, or even the school promoting the bussing of Students from UNT to UTSA(like they did this year but they did it Thursday afternoon with registration closing on Friday).. UNT has one of the biggest(if not the biggest) student bases/alumni bases in the area.. Find a way to reach out those people and bring them back. Yes some people commute but not the entire campus, find what those current students want and what will bring them.. When students show up and see a winning program, that will impact them greatly and want them to come back... Also, a lot of the degrees require internships so they could easily get students involved with activies for the sports and hell even have the Art students design art works that could be sold at the games or something as well to benefit the school program or extra credit, having local student bands play before the game... It was honestly great to see them( the AD office) offer free tickets to people for the SM game because while it was cold, and people left early it was still a great atmosphere, along with the HoD...But they have to present and increase our marketing presence as well. The Cowboys Deal helps us, and honestly it was brought up last night and I looked into it.. Texas Tech is doing practices in Lubbock, Midland, and The Star with their spring game in Lubbock.. UNT with their partnership should do some practices at The Star, Jerryworld, and Hell maybe even the Cotton bowl.. then do the spring game in Denton.. All these areas places we have campuses, and ways to inject UNT into those areas, along with bringing alumni closer to the team and aware of UNT for recruits(even better if we can bring in recruits for visit that are official or unofficial.)
  22. This is a solid addition... Now if we can get Cooper as well, who has a TCU offer
  23. Delete your account... This has to be in the running already for the dumbest post of the year.. If they(the staff) had landed him, then they could recruit, if they didn't they can't do their jobs... UH is a a good program with a lot of positives going for it that UNT hasn't had in years in terms of bowl success, winning, kids going into the NFL. All of us shouldn't be upset if he does sign with but if we had lost him to like Kansas then that is different... Best of luck to Bradley at UH or at UNT, wherever he goes
  24. As someone who played with both of them in HS, I'd hope that Ahmad could be better... I would also assume that since Breece and Evan didn't get P5 offers
  25. Look at how they played in the HoD... when they got moving, they moved the ball... When they didn't move the ball, most of the time it was because of bonehead penalties.
