The roster has multiple kids on the roster who are not mid-term enrollees.. they did this last year as well when the likes of Davis, Parish, etc signed they put them on the roster when they were still in HS

We need to stop this who settling and being fine with single digit wins, I get it we did great this past year but we got destroyed way more than any 9 win team did last year... The reasons why FAU was getting votes in the Top 25 was because they destroyed teams.. 10 wins is awesome to say hey look we improved again, and to continue showing HS coaches and recruits UNT has turned around but again if you want to be taken serious, go out and dominate. I will take a 1 point win vs Arkansas, FAU and SMU because they are viewed as programs “above us”, but the likes of UAB, LT, ODU, etc need to be beat downs. Win with style and that is how you impress recruits, fans, and coaches. Go out and put up 60+ on a someone and win by 30+ like FAU did to us and UNT will start popping up on some peoples radar for a school to watch.

Good this means that next year, no excuses for close games since we are significantly better (according to the national media and some on here) than everyone but 2 teams... Means every game outside of FAU and Ark are vs significantly worse teams and games we should flat out dominate, time to put the pedal to the metal and run some teams out of Apogee.

How it should be done is the “young” alumni package should be those seats and have them discounted, aka have John buy them and then he can resale them for x amount but allow for the Ticket office to sale them or market them

What is a HS paying, and if SL and WB are serious about upping recruiting they need to up the budgets as well.

Arkansas is down, SMU is down, on top of 2 money games.. This is a potentially easy year, and honestly playing a tough program like FAU could be the signature game of the year.. We need to stop wanting powderpuff games and go play some legitimate teams..

Because they want to get a larger than 10% increase so they have to send it to a student vote.. The smart thing would have been to do the 10% automatically this year (and potentially even last year if WB coulda gotten it done in time which I doubt). Cite what the increases would be used for and then use Donor money for coaches, etc

Have we gotten an update on Carroll? Thanks for the update on the final count as well. Would love for us to go out add the SEC CB and bring in a HS Kicker and let them battle it out with Zach Williams for a scholarship.

What is good, SMU should be a packed house because it’s game #1 and it’s SMU.. if we can win that it should be a good sign for when we play I-Word (which hopefully we dominate and impress the fans for them to come back.) I’m assuming Rice will be HOmecoming, and hopefully Parents weekend is either LT or USM (I would assume)

UTSA fired this OC and Wilson had talked about shifting to the spread from the the traditional power I they had been using, but I’m not sure how it ended up with the new OC hire.

No idea of how much info you have, but last year when we got Darden, Siggers, White in the last week.. Love the size of Shorter 6’2, 210 (ideally id like him to be a few inches taller but that is nitpicking). But something I just thought of is the scary combo at Outside WR we have on the way in Shorter and Greg White. If white can get up to that 200 lb range it will be very special pairing.

Has the potential to be a solid DB class, but Gibbs may not be a DB, and Davis is a LB apparently. If those 3 would be DBs and paired with Hallett it would be a homerun class.

For the normal fan that is logical thinking.. For the fans that are happy with the results last year (the blow outs and last second wins) its totally acceptable because Apogee will be packed next year when we go 13-1! You have been missing it on here, since SL has increased the win total both years he has been here by 4 wins each season, people are pumped for us to go 13-1 and be ranked!
