He transferred HSs from Liberty to Owasso it was said that Will is trying to be a DEC grad like Cade was, and people believe Liberty doesn't allow for that.

I like Brin as well, but to me Martin seems to have something that Brin doesn't and I have no idea what it is from tape. Brin has a solid offer list, so people won't be mad if its him. Martin people will wonder since we are Martins only D1 offer, which I find it shocking that Martin doesn't have more offers. The only question about Martin is do people think he is benefiting more because of his weapons with him having an SEC RB and P5 WRs?
-
Changing scheme and the lack of depth as well. You can never have to many quality OL or DL. Also, it's not like we were very solid along the OL either.
-
Martin I think should be ranked at the same level as Brin

Will be interesting FAU at UNT, because of McNeal who picked FAU over UNT on NSD. Hopefully we show him what coulda been

This is a kid to watch. Davis and LeBlanc can def. help us out here, and if the offense has a solid year I like our chances. But will be a challenge with ISU and SDSU. Hopefully being from Denton and of the offense gives us an advantage over TXST and UTSA -

AMEN! Not saying we can't be mad he didn't pick UNT, but playing in the SEC is very hard to turn down. Because Kids think that they have to go to a p5 to be drafted... NFL looks at college game tape, and that is why we have seen the likes of 30-40+ underclassman every year declare for the draft think they will be drafted and go undrafted. I think the Cowboys drafted a kid in the 6th or 7th RD this year from Ohio State that was a RS Soph and 20 years old. The more tape you have the better, and UNT and the G5 need to preach this to kids. Look at the likes of Rivers, Big Ben, Culter, Romo, and many more. They didn't play at power programs, but they played for 4 years. -
Its also good to get these kids on campus and let them spread their experience at UNT via word of mouth and twitter, and I'm glad that the AD office and Football program had images of the new IPF up as well for them to see. Some of these kids wont be back at UNT till the fall and it will be nice for them to come back and hopefully seeing the starting of the IPF.

Thank you, I thought we had something like this in a signing day post. I McGehee was replace by the JUCO Kicker from Kilgore College https://twitter.com/Alvin_Kenworthy Isadore I think would be likely to get a scholarship in the fall, so that would open up 2 or 3 scholarship for late adds like Wyche, Jenkins and Peters last year. Hopefully more guys like Jenkins tho

Quinn got a series or 2 in the WKU game last year but nothing solid. ----------------------------------------- About the Record, it can go either way but likely should go up. These guys having another year in the system, SL and the staff getting to bring in their guys, and the added bowl practices will help. But 2 position groups are critical to this year, the OL and QB We did not see Fine progress last year, and we have heard Quinn looks good but if he can't beat out Fine then is he really likely to be better than Fine? We do have 2 potential boom or bust QB recruits in Izzy and Pearson (who I think they would like to RS). But if the season does turn into a wash, SL and the staff need to play the young guys and find out for sure who can or who can not play. If they wanna keep Pearson RS then don't use him at all, and then play the likes of Fine, Quinn, Izzy, O'Hara, etc and figure out what you have with them. The OL was a major problem but with the additions of the JUCO OL and the freshman it should give us options. The offense will only go as far as this OL can take us.

thats why I said rumored but no announcement yet

I think its possible, because with OU deciding to go with Riley it doesn't seem likely that they are likely to move on. But again that is up to Riley and the success that he has at OU. SL is from OK and his family only lives something like 3 hours away. Also his kids are close to starting school, I would think as well. I have no idea where SL lives but there are not many better places to rise a family outside of DFW. UNT has shown SL that they will spend money as far, when it comes to redoing his contract, to paying GMAC in basketball, and UNT showing a commitment with an IPF on the way (rumored but still no announcement). The AD office also re-did and gave out bonuses to the assistant coaches as well. SL seems to have the program on the right tracks from what everyone keeps saying outside of Denton as well. HS Coaches have already talked about how great it is to be around this staff, and now its just up to winning. If UNT can have a successful season next year it will go a long way in changing the outlook of the school/ program. Lets just hope that SL becomes our Gary Patterson.. Fingers crossed

Okay thanks for that, i was trying to find a thread, I thought we had them listed.. So we have the LD Bell kid, Roberts from OK, and we did pick up that K/P recently as well. So I'm guessing that we could go out and pick up 2 or 3 more "blue-shirts" if anything? Ahh thanks, had lost track of him and figured it he hadn't gotten anything maybe the staff would try and contact him with this news.
-
Impressive, I would have figured OU/ORE would want a cut of it. Hopefully UNT will keep this up. ----------------------- Also, since the post is about the 2 blue-shirts. Do we have any idea whatever happened to the DL kid that we had interest in from Washington? Dobbs, I think his last name was and his parents or someone joined the board I thought?
-
Any information on how he liked UNT? Also, from his stats on 24/7 he is a tackling machine
-
Not sure how the schools split up the $ in terms of OU, ORE, and Rice getting it but that is a very nice and solid amount of income for 4 hours of work for the coaches. Agreed it shouldn't hurt this year but Tibbs looked good on his tape. hopefully he can work it out at a JUCO. Problem is in a 1 or 2 years when we lose some of the guys we have now. Having King and Tibbs come in and RS would have given them a year in the weight room and scheme.

We just offered Bragg today, but so did OU.. Williams looks a lot like English, maybe even quicker. Surprised he only has Army and AF, would love to add him to this group of DL. Humphries looks like he can play but no idea where he would play, I'm assuming it would be at WR/RB/SS i didn't see that in his hudl video him playing anything besides QB. Also, at 5'10 and 170+ running a 4.4 would be a nice addition just in terms of size and speed.

Not wanting to prevent him from getting anymore offers. Other schools may dump him because of an injury. UNT is not likely to withdrawal an offer from someone so talented. -
I just wish they (The AD office and sports teams) would have already announced the IPF and its design, or if anything I'm hoping UNT is talking (to these players) about what they will be potentially be doing once it is announced. Give these kids an idea what is in the pipeline! So they see the down range ideas and future progress
-
No idea, but its probably larger because of OU and ORE there. Also, maybe this gets us some air time with Stoops stepping down

No idea but he did tweet earlier that he had big news, then a couple hours later he tweeted about his ACL. As bad as this sounds, if its an ACL maybe he ends up sticking with us because others lose interest
